Rumex crispus: Curly Dock, Yellow Dock

In traditional medicine R. crispus was used as a blood purifier…an alterative…as well as an anti inflammatory agent to treat skin aliments.

In modern times it’s been used to: reducing chronic inflammation, reducing/eliminating free radicals, fight microbes, eliminate metabolic waste, support skin health, support the GI system, improve iron absorption, and even reduce diabetic symptoms.

This curly dock was wild harvested on my own personal property, cleaned by me, and is being dehydrated now for future use in a tincture.

You can find it in my “Purify” tincture for gently assisting the liver in detoxification.

Today I focused on harvesting some of my herbs for future use…

Stinging Nettle, Urtica dioica.
Curly Dock/Yellow Dock, Rumex crispus.

A special friend asked for shrubs for her daughters party…so to start us off I have a strawberry pineapple and basil…yum!! Isn’t that beautiful?
