Compared to our previous post, here’s another example of 2 Treatments Healed. This tattoo is actually going very well for only two treatments in as well (not to pat ourselves on the back TOO hard 😆). We’re already starting to see the blue-ish grey hue instead of a darker black pigment.

Have you ever wondered why we see older tattoos look blue/green over time? There are many reasons, but one main cause is the type of particles in the tattoo pigment. Just because the ink looks “black” to the naked eye and when originally done, doesn’t mean there aren’t colored particles in that pigment. The body will naturally process the larger darker pigment easier than the smaller particles. Thus leaving the blueish-greenish hue to tattoos as they age. This, combined with the ink breaking down within your natural skin pigmentation.

Lets talk Rescheduling☀️

Due to the increase of last minute rescheduling, especially during the summertime, we have increased our studio policy of previously requiring 48 hours notice to now requiring at least 72 hours notice.

We pride ourselves in being very honest with our clients, so let’s be honest once more: we get it!🌟 You totally forgot about your appointment, you accidentally got a little too much sun on vacation, you treated yourself a little too hard on that summer sale… we WANT you to enjoy your summer! BUT - as a business, notice is necessary to keep it running smoothly. In order to give other clients a chance to fill your spot, please give more than 72 hours notice. The more the better!👍 anything less will be a loss of deposit. No exceptions. (Pssst🫣 your email confirmation has a reschedule button in it so our calendar will pop up and make it super convenient for you!)

We have also made changes on our end to accommodate. After talking with a number of clients on how we can best serve you: We will now send your previously 48 hour text reminders to 1 week text reminders (the 1 week and 75 hour EMAIL reminders will still remain as they always have, but it seems some clients see the text easier than emails). Those are simply courtesy messages we send out and are obviously not responsible for making sure you remember your appointment, but if we can help you, we always will! 💛

Even if you start feeling under the weather, think of upcoming appointments with your service industry businesses. We have staff and families of our own we support.🫶
