It's zucchini season! 😜

Don't get overwhelmed by them, I know they are plentiful and sometimes can grow into the size of a baseball bat. 😆

But thankfully, zucchini are super versatile. So many ways to cook with them! Even if they have grown into the size of a Louisville slugger, you can still scoop seeds out, skin them, and use in most regular zucchini recipes.

Here's one of my new favorites, they turned out SO good and anytime your child calls something with veggies in it a "cupcake" is a win!

Cowboy Candy 🤠🔥🌶🍬

I was able to make 15 jars 🙀 of Cowboy Candy (candied jalapenos) this weekend. Harvested the jalapenos at different points of maturity this time making it colorful and pretty. Will have them available with me at markets, so get you some!

A perfect blend of a whole lot of spicy with a little bit of sweet. 😋💃
Goes great on hotdogs, hamburgers, with cream cheese or goat cheese and crackers, or just add as a little topping to literally anything. 🤤

We've replenished our freezer with whole chickens for you!
Next weekend we will process the other half of this round and will cut those down for breasts and leg quarters.

💚 Our animals are always fed organic, soy free grain (exclusively grown in North America). Rotated as needed onto fresh pasture. Always outside from the moment they are old enough. Processed on our farm, by us, never being stressed beyond our control.

Happy healthy animals produce clean, nutrient dense food. 💪

Ackerman area - I'm looking at making a quick trip up on June 1st if you would like to reserve some items.

"One bad day"
Sending some meat chickens to freezer camp today and they've lived better lives than most, only having one bad day.

Ruby was much more interested today and learned about the circle of life and God's perfect design for nourishing us.
Thankful for beautiful weather today and one on one time with family while we do hard and rewarding work together.

The chickens haven't stopped laying since I took a break from markets and welcomed our newest family member. 😜 So we currently have an abundance! Take advantage of this week's de@l!

Ben will be doing deliveries for me this week and instead of the typical Wednesday morning deliveries, he will do them on Wednesday afternoon.

We deliver to both ends of Hattiesburg - starting in Bellevue and ending in Petal. We also still have a super limited selection of chicken breasts and leg quarters. Let us know if we can bring you something. 😊
