Welcome to the Stockman Bank page! Montana banking, pure and simple. https://www.stockmanbank.com
For 29 years, Homeword has used sustainable methods to strengthen Montana communities by teaching homebuyer education and financial skill building and creating safe, healthy homes people can afford.
We are thrilled to aid their mission as one of the 11 non-profit organizations supported through a partnership with the
Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines.

We are proud to have Dawnita on our team, congrats!
Rau Elementary School in Sidney recently raised funds to replace the crumbling asphalt on their playground basketball court. We were happy to jump on board to be part of the new court. Shout out to Rau Elementary and the Richland County school system who keep moving students forward in and out of the classroom.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Day! This morning, Dani Burtsfield, a kindergarten teacher at Hedges in Kalispell, was selected as the Elementary Educator of the Year by the Kalispell Education Foundation. Congrats to Dani and all educators across the state for their time and dedication to our children.

Congrats Otis!
As part of our Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines partnership, we presented Snowy Mountain Development in Lewistown with a significant grant.
These funds will be used to help provide affordable rental opportunities for lower-income, disabled, elderly and veteran residents through Eagles Manor, and will be used to support economic development by creating and retaining good paying jobs, encouraging entrepreneurship, and attracting new business. We are thrilled to help this organization that does so much for the Lewistown community.
More than 750 organizations are participating statewide in The Days of Giving, an annual, statewide celebration of the nonprofits in our communities. This online giving opportunity is a great way to show the charities you support some love!

Helena Market President, Steve Fawcett, recently had the opportunity to award Bryant Elementary School 1st grade teacher, Sheridan Marr, with a Spark Grant, "Letter Sound Learning"! With the funding, she'll purchase a variety of phonics tools to help students in her class catch up on their letter sounds and learn to turn them into whole words.
Thank you to the Helena Education Foundation for giving us the opportunity to make a difference!
This team of brave Stockman volunteers stood in the rain to man a water station at the 52nd annual River Bank Run! An estimated 2,600 Missoulians ran to raise money to help the YMCA build a healthier community for all.
Thanks for hosting a great event Missoula Family YMCA!
In partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, we are excited to present Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana with a significant contribution to their mission. Join us for a weekend of soccer at the Stockman Bank Magic City Classic this Saturday and Sunday at Amend Park in Billings. It is the largest tournament yet, with 195 teams and games throughout the weekend. See you there!
Shauna Deckert, Loan Officer in Belgrade, is another one of our amazing volunteers. For 15 years she has served as Chair of the Membership Services Committee at the Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce, working the sign in table for all Business Before Hours, Business During Hours and 4:44 @ 4C Events each month. She is also Chair for the Chamber's Annual Golf Tournament.

To qualify, you must serve a minimum of 3 years on the Board of Directors and be active in the community and Chamber of Commerce. Well done, Shauna! We are proud to have you in the Gallatin Valley!
For Matt Price, Real Estate Loan Officer in Missoula, attending networking events sparked a desire to make a bigger impact in the community.
Matt serves on the board and finance committee for Families First whose mission to strengthen families through education, connection, play and partnership hits home to him as a father. Matt is also the treasurer for the Missoula Young Professionals group. He has found that there are a lot of great ways to volunteer for a few hours here and there after work.
Thank you, Matt, for sharing your time and talent!
Treygan Olson, New Accounts Representative in Missoula, volunteers his time as a coach for the 2024 University of Montana Rodeo Team.
When he and his wife moved to Missoula he jumped at the chance to be the team's assistant coach because he has a passion for coaching and helping others excel in rodeo.
Treygan has been involved in the rodeo world his whole life. Prior to joining Griz Rodeo he was a coach and team member for the UM Western Rodeo and MSU Northern Rodeo teams. Seeing students excel not only in rodeo, but also balancing other things such as school, and for some a job, has been very rewarding for him.
Hats off to you Treygan!
Taylor Rittenhouse, Cash Management Support Specialist II, has been volunteering with the Art House Billings and historic Babcock Theatre for about 3 years now. As a big movie fan, Taylor found the Art House while searching for a showing of a small film and fell in love with the theater and its passionate staff. She serves guests, assists them to their seats, cleans up after shows and helps with large events at the Babcock.
Both theaters are independently owned nonprofits that rely on help from the community to bring entertainment to Billings that it wouldn't otherwise have access to. Taylor encourages everyone to go enjoy a movie, grab a drink or bite to eat at the Art House restaurant, and support your locally owned cinemas!
Thank you for your dedication to our community, Taylor!
For Julie Beede, credit analyst in Kalispell, when asked to get involved, her first inclination is to say yes!
She has been actively involved with the parent teacher organization at West Valley School since 2018. The PTO receives requests from teachers to help fund activities that are not in the school's budget, like more musical instruments, robotics, busses for field trips etc. She finds it rewarding to know that her small part will add more fun and enrichment to the school.
Julie, thank you for your willingness to lend a helping hand!
Tiffani Coleman finds inspiration as a volunteer for Special Olympics Montana. Tiffani, the bank's Lead Senior Analyst, has been involved in Special Olympics Montana for over 30 years. She is grateful to be a part of an organization that helps her put life in perspective.
She began helping out in high school, while her sister was an athlete. Over the years, she became more involved by coaching multiple sports, including basketball, soccer and golf, as well as planning various state competitions. She is now the Area Competition Coordinator and still coaches soccer and basketball. Tiffani shares that the athletes are amazing. Just watching them compete, giving it everything they’ve got, whether it's the 10-meter race or making that first basket, fills her heart. That’s why she gives back and is making a difference in their lives.
Thank you, Tiffani, for your years of dedication and service to Special Olympics Montana!
Kendra Farrar, Consumer & Commercial Loan Officer in Manhattan, has been involved in community service since middle school! Some highlights include active board member of the Three Forks Education Foundation, Treasurer of the Board for Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, Gallatin County Pheasants Forever Youth Instructor and she has been a Montana Volunteer Hunter Education Instructor for 19 years!

Sheena Stenberg, CSR at Billings Downtown, makes time to help others and stays actively involved in many community activities. She is hardworking and organizes the Billings Stockman team for Relay for Life. She lost two family members to cancer as well as a close family friend, so Relay for Life is near and dear to her heart. Sheena has fun leading the team and appreciates all the Billings employees who participate with Relay for Life.
She is a 4-H mom for her daughter's club and enjoys helping to organize and help out where she is needed. And is a bowling league coach for her daughter's team. "Being able to help kids bowl has opened my eyes and heart. I love to cheer on all the kids when they get a strike or a spare especially if they have been struggling. It is one of the best things to see on a Saturday morning."
Marcy Parks, Director of Operations for Stockman Insurance, is an outstanding volunteer. She volunteers over 400 hours or more depending on the year! Marcy volunteers with her church as a weekly youth group leader and bi-weekly girls bible study leader. She spends numerous weekends at Trail's End Ranch camp volunteering and cooking for youth and adult weekend retreats.
Marcy has been with Stockman Insurance for 17 years and keeps the Insurance office running like a dream. Hats off to you, Marcy, for giving so much time and energy to a good cause.
Logan Schuh, teller at our Missoula Brooks Street bank, volunteers as a cook and facilitator for the Carroll College Men’s Retreat. The annual event, hosted at Legendary Lodge every winter, brings college men together to grow in virtue and faith.
For the four years Logan attended Carroll it was one of his favorite memories — filled with adventure, friendship, and faith. When he graduated, he reflected on how the Men’s Retreat was a cornerstone of his formation throughout college.
He believes the guidance, conversations, and challenges he received from the men leading the retreat lead him to be the husband, father, and man he is today today so he began setting aside time every year to support the men's retreat.
He hopes that his work as a volunteer encourages the retreatants to become men of service.
Thank you Logan for your dedication!
Kris Hill, Real Estate Loan Officer in Kalispell, finds that a warm smile and kindness go a long way. On her lunch hour she can often be found volunteering at the Salvation Army community center. She finds volunteering rewarding and has met some great people, not only other volunteers, but others on the receiving end of services. In addition to the The Salvation Army Kalispell Corps - Serving the Flathead she also volunteers at the Flathead Warming Center during the winter months and for the Flathead Food Bank.
Thank you for lending a hand in our communities Kris!
Happy Earth Day!

Sarah Miller works in our Missoula market as a consumer loan assistant and is a crisis line volunteer for YWCA Missoula. Volunteering in this capacity allows her to help domestic/sexual violence survivors after work and from home. One of the biggest things she has learned is that this type of violence happens to all types of women.
Sarah explains, "These women come from all races, socioeconomic statuses and backgrounds. I won’t say I “enjoy” the work because the stories I hear can be horrific, but I feel a sense of gratitude that I am able to help someone find the tools and strength to leave their abuser."
Thank you, Sarah, for your commitment to others in our community.
