When It comes to vocal sound production, don't be fooled by what you're hearing. Singers using proper vocal technique , are able to achieve such a powerful tone on high notes without any strain.
They don't carry their "full voice" all the way up. That's yelling, which is quite harmful to their vocal cords; "shouting" high notes isn't only dangerous, but usually followed by an unpleasant flat tone.
This powerful, even tone, is accomplished by proper vocal training, thinning out the full tone on the bottom, while thickening head voice on the top. Eventually they will blend in creating the "mix voice ".
