On the menu now: Yellow Squash and Saffron soup! We continue to harvest an abundance of late summer squash from our garden this year, while the weather slowly cools. This soup features a subtle, warming blend of saffron, ginger, and turmeric, all harmoniously blended with creamy coconut milk for a silky-smooth finish. In the bowl, you'll also find Crispy Salametti, Whipped Crème Fraiche, Smoked Paprika Oil, a Squash Blossom Chip, and our Shrimp Toast.

"I first tried Jimmy Nardellos when I moved to the Bay Area. They were bright red, and I thought they would be spicy - instead, they were sweet, fruity, and delicious.
We cook a little chorizo in a pan and let the fat render. Then toss the fresh Jimmy Nardellos in and cook them until they blister. We deglaze with fresh lime juice and throw in some green onion tops. "Plucked daily from our garden are assorted heirloom tomatoes (Brandywine, Green Zebra, Early Girls). Just before service, we marinate them in Sherry Vinegar, Olive Oil, Shallots, and Chives. The intention is to emphasize acidity, effectively balancing the richness of the Burrata and the sweetness of the Smoked Tomato Jam. Our goal was to craft a sweet jam for the Burrata while utilizing extra tomatoes post-service and any trim available. Opting to smoke the tomatoes adds complexity, maintaining the dish's savory profile. For the final touches, we sprinkle Basil Blossoms and a few drops of Chili Oil.
