I was scheduled to be shop maven yesterday, but traffic there has been slow coming into summer, so when a cheery young woman asked if she could do an unscheduled inlay ring class I thought, why not? Soon as we got started the flood gates opened with customer after customer coming through the doors and I morphed from maven to whirling dervish doing the all places at once dance 🤣. Nikki was understanding and quite the overachiever—completing two rings and even adding the tricky chevron. Not too shabby for her first go at inlay!
What a fun, happily exhausting day!

Yesterday evening I had the priveledge of presenting a short jewelry experience for the wonderful ladies of Selma Babtist Church—Woodruff, SC at their Sweet Tea Tuesday dinner and devotional event. What a great time making sterling silver and copper stacking rings with this fun group! Thanks so much to Carlla Hendrix for the invitation!

Carlos and Adolfo made inlay rings, Adolfo really wanted a green, so we crunched up a turquoise/opal /malachite combo and WOW! That color is a show stopper! Rings complete there was one more surprise… Carlos proposed, Adolfo said yes! Yes, there were tears! Way to kick off Pride month! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!!!
