1️⃣ BE ACTIVE! Physical activity helps with balance and strength.
2️⃣ DECLUTTER THE HOME! Remove items that are in walkways, add lighting to dark spaces, and add grab bars to areas such as bathrooms.
3️⃣ CHECK VISION AND HEARING! Your eyes and ears are crucial to helping you stay balanced and keep you on your feet.
4️⃣REVIEW MEDICATIONS WITH YOUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER! Ask your doctor if any of your current medications have side effects that could result in falling.
