If you experience chronic back or joint pain, practitioners Malia Grimes, physical therapist and massage therapist, and Tonya Younts, massage therapist, are the therapists for you. Their massages can help alleviate lower back pain, improve range of motion, reduce spasms and cramping, relieve migraine pain, increase joint flexibility and so much more. Massages are also more than a pain relief method or for calming your body. Massage therapy helps decrease anxiety, improves sleep quality, concentration and increase energy.
Some of the more specific services they provide include postural realignment (a technique that combines massage with stretching and exercise), myofascial release (a treatment that focuses on releasing muscular shortness and tightness by relaxing contracted muscles and shortened connective tissue), and trigger point therapy (techniques that reduce knots in muscles that refer pain to other parts of the body), as well as many more.
