Join us tomorrow, November 1, from 12pm to 1pm, for a Gallery Talk with our current featured artist, Carol Iglesias! 🎨🖌️ Carol will provide insights into the inspiration, techniques, and processes behind the pieces in her exhibit, "Colors of the Lowcountry & Beyond."

Last night, we had an exceptionally large and enthusiastic turnout for the opening reception of "Colors of the Lowcountry & Beyond" by Carol Iglesias. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who attended to show their support for Carol and all of our other local member artists. 🎉🎨

Colors of the Lowcountry & Beyond is a collection of Lowcountry plein air paintings that Carol Iglesias has completed over the past year and a half. The exhibit will be on display October 22 through November 22. An opening reception will be held Wednesday, October 23, 5-7pm. Iglesias will also host a Gallery Talk on Friday, November 1, at 12pm, where she will discuss her work, influences, and processes. The exhibit, reception and gallery walk are free and open to the public.

The Side-by-Side: Monochrome Visions in Color exhibit is an exciting display of local photographers' images juxtaposed against the colorful works they inspire. 🎨📸

Color photographs are submitted, while local artisans are given black-and-white versions to interpret in their media. The original color photographs will be unveiled at the exhibit.

We invite you to visit this exceptional collaborative exhibit at the Art League Academy, located at 106 Cordillo Parkway, in partnership with LifeLong Learning of Hilton Head. The exhibit will be open from today until November 8th. An opening reception will be held on Friday, October 25th, from 5 to 7 p.m. Attendees of the reception will have the opportunity to cast their votes for the People's Choice Awards.
