I do not trust drug store products since I learned there are over 150 products the USA allows in Our Skincare that Canada and Europe have BANNED, because of their Health Risks. For example, the "Oil of Olay" you buy in Maine is different than the same product purchased just over the Canadian border. A rule of thumb...if you see French writing on your packaging, its usually okay.

This is a great article. I found out at my physical last Sept that I was in menopause. It explained a lot. I had bouts of "not handling things well" and this article made me feel a bit better about my erratic behavior. Lots of women have told me about hot flashes, but seriously, the hot flashes are not the worst of it. I have a mild case of "mommy brain." It's extremely frustrating when you can't remember what things are called. Let your younger friends know what they're in for. An older friend of mine validated my experiences and let me know that it'd get easier. She also said life is great when you level out again. It meant a lot to know I wasn't alone. Women need not be ashamed of their feelings. We need to own them and help our goddess friends to do the same.
