The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City, in accordance with the plans of the Central Labor Union. By 1894, 23 more states had adopted the holiday, and on June 28, 1894, President Grover Cleveland signed a law making the first Monday in September of each year a national holiday.

Here are some photos of my recent family trip to Montreal and Quebec. We got to visit the Montmorency Waterfalls in Quebec which is the tallest waterfall in the Providence (and higher than Niagara Falls). And I love the photo of Kerry, Ian, Henry and Lucy at Rue du Cul-de-Sac (aka Umbrella Alley) in Old Quebec - such a beautiful spot!

I'm very happy for my buyers on the purchase of their new home in Crow Point. This new construction property by Brian Roberts is absolutely beautiful and I'm excited to see my buyers make it their own. Wishing them many years of happiness in their new home!
