AB 1113 (McCarty) passed with unanimous support and is now headed to the Governor’s desk! 🎉 This bill will ensure the collection of critical student-level data starting in the 2025-26 school year, and help provide equitable opportunities for older youth. 🌟Meet our 3 ASAS-LA high school interns who completed their internship with ØPUS!🎓🧑🏼‍💻 During their time with them, they dove deep into researching trends across multiple industries, gaining valuable insights and skills along the way. They were able to visit the ØPUS Office in Beverly Hills to present their final projects in front of CEO & Founder, Omar Johnson and his colleagues. It was a huge success! She will be attending the upcoming All-Star Leadership University (ASLU) in Orlando, Florida to join Yabbie’s from across the country to learn how to advocate for their needs and those of their communities. She will develop her leadership skills, understand how to tell her story, and identify her passion project for her Year of Service.
