AB 1113 (McCarty) passed with unanimous support and is now headed to the Governorโs desk! ๐ This bill will ensure the collection of critical student-level data starting in the 2025-26 school year, and help provide equitable opportunities for older youth. ๐Meet our 3 ASAS-LA high school interns who completed their internship with รPUS!๐๐ง๐ผโ๐ป During their time with them, they dove deep into researching trends across multiple industries, gaining valuable insights and skills along the way. They were able to visit the รPUS Office in Beverly Hills to present their final projects in front of CEO & Founder, Omar Johnson and his colleagues. It was a huge success! Experiences like these allow our students to learn the ins and outs of what itโs like to work for a major make-up company ๐, allowing them to expand their career horizons. She will be attending the upcoming All-Star Leadership University (ASLU) in Orlando, Florida to join Yabbieโs from across the country to learn how to advocate for their needs and those of their communities. She will develop her leadership skills, understand how to tell her story, and identify her passion project for her Year of Service.
