Good hand hygiene is essential to prevent spread of diseases, but it can have a negative effect on the skin. If you have irritation, dryness or possible hand eczema, some tips to help:
- make sure to rinse soap off completely,
- dry your hands completely after washing,
- consider alcohol-based hand sanitizers as an alternative to washing since they may be less irritating and are easier to use,
- most importantly, use a quality moisturizer throughout the day and before bed

UVA protection is shown to be more important than UVB protection in preventing pigmentation & brown spots. So think zinc oxide! Also protection against visible light is important so use a tinted sunscreen with iron oxide! My favorites are by (UV Elements) and (Eryfotona Ageless) and (Sunbetter compact). And remember to ALWAYS wear sunscreen, even if you are working from home 😉
