Sing Cheong Yuan Bakery
Local Chinese Bakery!
No words, just beyond grateful ♥️ Mahalo to our community + for voting us Best Manapua! Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting our small local business. We can't thank you enough 🥹🙏🏼
✨Special order✨ Steam Custard Manapua 奶黄包 🤤 Our absolute favorite on the dim sum carts!
Mochi Rice Mondays 🤤 If you like mochi rice, you have got to try our mochi rice siu mai. It is so addicting!
It's mandatory to eat dim sum on Sunday's 🤭😋
We are DEFINITELY feeling the love today 🥰 We are so grateful to finally be up and running again! Hope you are all enjoying the food 😋
Thank you to all who are coming out to support us + the rest of Chinatown today! What a great community to be apart of 🫶🏼 It is so nice to see Chinatown lively again!
There's always a rainbow after the storm 🌈 Although the "storm" is not over for us, this was the best scenario yet. With the support of our friends, we were able to get a generator to power up the shop at around 5pm today. You know who you are, we are forever grateful for your help in such a dire time. We got straight to work and tried to make as many items as we could so we could at least get the day started!
A tremendous thank you to all our employees, friends, family, loved ones, and community for the outpouring support and love during this time - reaching out for help, lending us refrigeration space and an oven to use, charging our battery packs at the substation, providing security, dropping off food and drinks, and the list goes on. Sorry for all the trouble this has caused each and every one of you but we really appreciate your patience as we try to navigate through this tough time 😓🫶🏼
Despite all the struggles and burdens we faced this past week, the show must go on! All we can do is stay positive and help each other out. Forever grateful for our village and community ♥️♥️ Let's hope the power gets restored asap! 💡💡
Happy Dragon Boat Festival! Make sure to eat your Jung today 😋🐉🛶
Pictured: Green Bean Jung
Finally had the time to make Kim Jung for Dragon Boat Festival on Monday 🐉🛶
Kim Jung (碱水粽) is also known as alkaline/lye water rice dumplings. Lye water (potassium carbonate) raises the pH of the rice, giving the sweet mochi rice a more soft and chewy texture and distinct amber translucent color. You can eat it however you want but most choose to dip it in sugar or syrup! Eat it room temperature so you can experience all the flavors and textures.
Give it a try if you haven't! It's so so addicting 🤤
Arguably one of the best pineapple cakes you'll ever have! 🍍😋
To those who have discovered our Mochi Rice Siu Mai, how are you liking it 😋🤭
Happy Sunday ☀️ What better way to start the day than with some freshly baked char siu manapuas 🤤
Give us a call at (808)531-6688 to place a phone order. We're open 7am - 5pm everyday!
Pork hash for days 😋🤤
Nothing like some fresh gin dui to start off your day 😋 3 flavors to choose from: black sugar, coconut or char siu!
Coconut Peanut Mochi 🥥🥜/ Black Sugar Mochi 🫘 (糯米糍) is a popular Hong Kong snack!
What is it? A glutinous rice dumpling filled with ground peanuts + sugar or black sugar then coated in dried coconut. So so yummy! 🤤
Char Siu Su is a favorite here at our shop! Instead of the normal puff pastry crust you can find at other dim sum shops, we created a cookie like crust that pairs perfectly with the sweet/savory char siu filling 😋👌🏼
One of the most underrated dim sum items.. Mochi Rice Siu Mai 🤤 Stir fried mochi rice with char siu, lip chong, dried shrimp, mushrooms, green onion and parsley stuffed in a fresh dumpling wrapper! A must try 🥇
The crispy edges for me 🙋🏻♀️ Top off the butter mochi with some vanilla ice cream and you have the perfect dessert 😋🍦
A box of pork hash for me please 😋🙋🏻♀️ And don't forget the hot mustard!
A tray of shrimp dumplings will take all your problems away.. 🤫🤭
