These HBA Senior boys voluntarily gave up their Veterans day holiday to serve our church!

A couple weeks ago they started a project for our church, scanning and archiving 80 years worth of photo albums.

Even though they already met their volunteer hour requirements and didn't have to come back, they wanted to make sure they finished the job.

Great group of mature, hardworking young men. Good job HBA parents and teachers!

This past Sunday our NBC Keiki hosted a bake sale to raise funds to support the relief effort on Maui! Our kids planned the event and baked many tasty treats themselves. All proceeds are going to support the disaster relief and churches who are serving the community. Let us continue to pray for Lahaina!

Day 2 of VBS! Another blessed day of learning God's truth. Children learned the Parable of the Sower how to prepare their hearts to be "good soil" to receive God's word.

Bible verse of the Day: For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. ROMANS 10:10

VBS got off to a great start on Monday! It was an awesome time welcoming new children and families, singing praise to Jesus, and learning that he is the GREATEST TREASURE we could ever hope for. Please pray that seeds of truth would continue to be planted in the hearts of our keiki. Mahalo to our awesome volunteers and leaders!

Less than a couple weeks ago, Corey and Sarah began their ministry at Mt. Kaala Baptist! They are praising God for the love and warm welcome they have received from the members. Let us continue to pray for the Perkins and Mt. Ka'ala Baptist as they fulfill God's call to reach people in the Waianae Valley for Christ!
