At , each day time is devoted for prayer, reflection, and matters of the heart. Rooted in the Catholic identity, the Academy embraces all faith traditions from across the globe. This week, our campus was honored to host visiting educators from Chonnam University in South Korea. This partnership was made in part possible by Academy parent, Gina Redila, and the University of Hawaii. These visiting teachers and school officials were able to observe our students and teachers in the classroom, in addition to participating on student led tours of campus and classes. Mahalo nui loa to all those who helped to make this opportunity a success, we look forward to reconnecting in 2025 when our girls have the opportunity to travel to Korea!

👨‍⚖️ Welcome English teachers from Gwangju, Korea to the HELP TEFL Seminar Program! Recently they studied about under instructor Kristen Urada. Then they visited to put their learning into practice with a mock trial. What will they learn next? 💭

🌺 Happy Graduation Day, Summer 2 2024 Term Students! In their last week of the term, students learned the Hawaii tradition of making leis from ribbons under teacher Kristen's guidance. Today, they'll be able to gift to their fellow graduates with a lei! 🥰

😎 Happy Aloha Friday, summer's almost over! Our students took a refreshing midweek excursion to , led by their teacher Dan. Tasting Hawaii's local sweets is just one of our perks! 🍧

🎓 Congratulations to the 2024 Spring-Summer ! Short for Hawaii International Business Tourism and Culture Studies, these women from learned about Hawaii's industry and culture during their 17-week study. Go forth with the lessons you have learned!

📓 It's the start of the Summer 2 2024 Term! This is our accelerated 4-week term, with classes every day from Monday to Friday. Good luck to the students and their rigorous study during this term! 📈

Take a step outside your ! In preparation for their Listening and Speaking Final Presentation, 300-level students interviewed UH students about trends and fads. Under the careful guidance of their teacher Jasmine, they took on the and did a great job!

We had a small ceremony yesterday to celebrate the end of the term. We celebrated students finishing their studies, including four scholars from UH Center for Southeast Asian Studies. We also recognized students who completed their classes with honors and made efforts to use English to their fullest extent. We wish you the best in your future endeavors!

👰‍♀️ One of HELP's internship opportunities is at a local shop, Casablanca Bridal & Formals ! The responsibilities include assisting sales, dressing brides and display mannequins, and organizing inventory. is a great way to gain work experience with people in the industry! 💍
