Last but not least the 'Tropic Lime' bred by Dr. Kamemoto, Dr. Kuehnle and Dr. Amore of CTAHR received a red ribbon. This tulip variety is tolerant against anthracnose fungus and bacterial blight disease. Vase life is 29 days and the muted green color and long stem make this an exquisite flower for any occasion.
This variety 'Sundance' bred by Calvin Hayashi received a blue ribbon today! The light jasmine green with veins of pink and pink blush makes this variety very attractive. Vase life is 21 days and yield is approximately 7 blooms per plant per year.
The 'Maui' variety pictured was awarded a red ribbon! This variety was bred by the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) under Dr. Kamemoto, Dr. Kuehnle & Dr. Amore.
