We visited Ms. Stevenʻs language arts class and the students from 5B working away on their weekly writing prompts ✏️📝. It was heartwarming to see returning students helping new students navigate Google classrooms on their iPads! ☺️💙💛

We are happy to see our students buzzing with excitement for after school care! 🎉 Their smiles and energy make every day special.

Students from 2A were thrilled to explore and check out books today! 📚✨ Their excitement is as big as their imaginations!

Students from 4A used their senses 👁️👃👂🤚👄 to cast their best guesses on the identity of various substances in science class with Mrs. Thimsen. Smelling sardines may have caused the most dramatic reactions! 🤣💙⁣

Students from 1B had a spirited morning in PE with Coach Ed by running laps and warming up with a game of sharks and minnows, before teaming up to play soccer! 👟⚽️💙💛⁣

Students from 6A discussed how contemporary issues and culture shape their worldview in Mr. Lancenʻs Language Arts class and the importance of using language to communicate with each other. 📚✏️💙💛⁣

Our KA class learned all about Holy Family Church today and practiced being quiet and respectful, gently lowering the kneelers, and genuflecting ❤️. Mahalo to Father Dario for the wonderful tour! 🙏🏽💛💙⁣

Our Angels preschool class took a tour of campus today and practiced walking up and down the stairs safely so they are ready to visit our library next week, before learning roles and responsibilities for the day in circle time📍📚🖍️. So sweet!🥰💙💛⁣

There’s nothing quite like the first day of school to see friends united, new friends welcomed warmly, and genuine excitement from our staff 🥰✏️📚. Welcome back, Wildcats! May this year bless all our families! 💙💛⁣

Our upper grades partnered with our lower grades for our Walk with Jesus Friday, focusing on Beatitude #8: “Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice’s sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” 💙💛

Our fifth and final day of Staff Appreciation Week featured a VIP Lunch 🍝🥗. A huge mahalo to our PTG for working so hard to make us feel special this week, and to all our families who have supported the PTG fundraisers all year long. We appreciate YOU! 🤙🏽💙💛

Calling all Wildcats! We are hosting our annual alumni games (volleyball and basketball) on Thursday, May 16, and invite any former HFCA players to join us, to take on our current teams. Last week we celebrated our Principal, Ms. Akiu, and our two Assistant Principals, Mrs. Burch and Mr. MacMaster and showered them with aloha for Principalʻs Day. We appreciate all you do to make HFCA such a special place! 🤙🏽💙💛

Our Academy students enjoyed a beautiful Crowning of Mary prayer service today, hosted by our 7th grade class. Mahalo to our student choir for the beautiful music and to all our families for sending in flowers to honor our Blessed Mother Mary! 🙏🏽💐💛💙
