On Saturday August 31st, The Summer Sizzler 2, 'War in the West', at Palolo Gym will feature over 25 belt matches between a team of west coast all stars and Hawaii's finest amateur fighters. Doors will open at 3:30 pm and matches will begin at 4:00 pm. General entry is $25 and there are still a limited number of ringside tables available. If you would like to reserve a ringside table, or become an awards sponsor, message me ASAP. Mahalo Nui Loa to all the fans and family that showed this past weekend for Rumble In The Valley 8. We had 30 exciting, closely fought matches that had the crowd on their feet and cheering so loudly that neighbors said they felt like they were in the ring!! Big thanks to all of the athletes and coaches, officials, sponsors and vendors, and to YOU, the killer fans that came to support Hawaii Amateur Boxing in Palolo! Congratulations to outstanding youth match winners, Kaimana Watson and Dayson Duque. Also to the outstanding open match winners, Bryan Bito and Etienne Hardy. A big salute to the outstanding fighter of the night award winner Blu Gerardo! And last, but definitely not least mahalo plenty to my wife Jennifer Kim for all of the love and support it took to get this up and running. Rumble In The Valley 8 will feature around 30 matches with fighters representing over a dozen clubs from Maui, Big Island, and Oahu. Doors will open at 4:30 pm and fights to begin at 5:00 pm. There will be free parking available at Palolo Gym and at the Palolo Recreation Center (next parking lot up the hill), as well as street parking on Palolo Ave. General admission is $25 and ringside riser seats are $30. If you would like to reserve riser seats, message me ASAP for payment info. Looking forward to seeing you all at THE RUMBLE!

On Saturday, May 4 at 5pm, around 50 Hawaii boxers will battle it out for championships and the right to be Rumble In The Valley champion for 2024. Tickets will be $24-40 and can be purchased at the door or reserved ahead by messaging me. Secured event parking will be at Jarret Middle School and provided by The Jarret MS Foundation for $5. This event will be an open invitational with 21 championship matches featuring top amateur boxers from Oahu, Maui, Hawaii Island, and the mainland. Doors will open at 4:30 and bouts will start at about 5pm. Secured parking will be provided next door at Jarrett Middle School, by the Jarrett MS Foundation at $5 per vehicle. Can't thank everyone enough who participated, volunteered, coached, officiated, or came to support our 2024 Hawaii Winter Boxing Fest this past weekend! We have athletes from Canada, Japan, Oahu, Maui and Big Island competing in over 20 championship belt matches. Fights will begin at 5pm and general admission is $20. May 6, starting 5:30pm at Palolo Gym, 20+ matches featuring up and coming fighters from across the 808 state! Finally for the 1st time since pre-covid mania, boxers from Kauai, Maui, the Big Island and all across Oahu, will convene in one competition, the 7th Annual Rumble in the Valley, which had originally been scheduled for May 2020. Doors open at 5pm so come early and show your support for the young men and women of Hawaii USA Boxing! Auryte, See you there!!!

Attention Palolo Boxing members and community: The wait is finally over! Preceding the Palolo gym reopening, we will be having a boxing gym clean up this coming Saturday, Feb. 4th, from 9am-12 noon. Volunteers are asked to bring cleaning gloves and supplies if available. We hope to see you there for the clean up and back in the gym when our program restarts!
