by - We totally made over this kitchen to create a better layout and add more storage and counter space simultaneously. Linear kitchens are popular due to their functionality and flow and this one is no exception.

Better lighting and new vinyl plank flooring throughout the house made this feel like an entirely new home!

by - We took down the obstructive kitchen wall to open up the space and make the most of the footprint. We think it was worth it!

Two modern bathroom upgrades along with all new lighting, paint and flooring added to the improvements. Every surface was touched, and we even enclosed the patio to create more usable space.

The homeowners are stoked that they get to enjoy their new home for decades to come!

Part 3 - Interior - bathrooms

and by - We extended this house further into the backyard to add a ground floor master suite for the ideal aging-in-place situation. Also part of the addition is a wet bar, family room and small covered deck. One of the main goals was to make the main level of the home feel less cramped and we accomplished that here!

As for the existing part of the house, we did a full renovation and upgraded every surface to the homeowners’ liking and taste. As the homeowners themselves put it, it’s like they have “an entirely new home” inside and out!

by - Taking down walls always results in something good! We opened up this kitchen, making it more pleasant to cook, eat, sit and relax.

All the reconfiguration work and relocation of utilities takes a lot of planning, problem solving on the fly, and most of all, patience from all parties involved. We thrive under these conditions after doing so many of these over the years!

by - We helped out some clients who are very special to us to restore their condo that was not only flooded TWICE in a 4 year period, but they also had to endure a complete building repipe on top of all of that. Their condo has been torn up in some form or another since 2018…

Small kine job but big impact on a family that just needed a comfortable and safe place to live, chaos free. We knocked it out and got it done in one week!

by - from nothing to something was the theme for this patio makeover! The homeowners desperately wanted a usable covered patio and also a way to get from their garage to their front door without getting drenched in the Mililani rain, and are beyond thrilled with our solution.

Previously unused patio and side yard space will now become a comfortable gathering space away from the elements for generations to come!

by - This cute vintage home in Hawaii Kai was ready for a makeover and we felt we made a difference on this one.

Totally new kitchen and appliances (except refrigerator, which will be upgraded at a later date), canec ceiling removal and replacement with drywall, recessed lighting and vinyl flooring made a big difference. Homeowner has elected to paint the walls themselves at a later date, leaving the vintage tongue and groove wall look for now.

Nothing like getting a major refresher for your home!

by - This was an intense driveway project! We had to remove up to 30” of expansive clay soil and bring in many truckloads of gravel to make this happen according to the permitted plans.

The result is a great looking new driveway that will last for generations! Gate and operator to be installed at a later date.

by - This old, mossy deck was a rotting mess that shook and swayed when you walked on it.

This was a total tear down and rebuild, using composite decking and railing materials supplied by and it came out pretty spectacular! We also replaced a railing on the side of her driveway that acts as a guardrail for a 10 foot drop off to match the one on the new deck.

The project went super smooth like most of our projects do, and the homeowner couldn’t be happier! They will definitely be spending more time enjoying their amazing view!

by - This was the second of two bathrooms we fully tore to shreds and rebuilt from scratch.

The underground plumbing work was no joke and very challenging but we pulled it off to perfection due to our wealth of experience!

by - This was a full tear out, repipe, reframe, re-everything of two back to back bathrooms. It was definitely more intense than the average bathroom remodel!

Good quality materials and craftsmanship are the theme here and the result is pretty slick!

This is the first of two nearly identical bathrooms in this house.

by - This is the other bathroom we remodeled in this house with pretty much the same finishes as the one in the previous post. Even though it’s a tiny bathroom, it feels much bigger than previous and it is very pleasant to spend time in here!

by - We carried out the homeowner’s vision of a spa-like feel by tiling all walls and adding good lighting.

Custom walnut cabinetry, edge lit mirrors, good quality tile and stone along with high end fixtures all make for a tremendous bathroom experience!

by - This was part of a home renovation where we redid all the common areas of this home to bring it into this century as far as design and functionality. The results speak for itself!

by - Just another one of our many tub to shower conversion projects, done right as always!

Large format tile with linear drain, flip up teak wood bench and sliding glass shower enclosure check all the boxes and provide a functional result.

Definitely a huge upgrade to this standard original bathroom that the homeowners will enjoy!

by - This was strictly a shower-only remodel and it made all the difference.

New pan and plumbing, along with tile chosen by owner, made for a brighter and cleaner look overall. Two niches give the owners more space to put toiletries and the shower door adds a nice modern touch.

We came through as always, on schedule and with excellent results!
