DID YOU KNOW?! World famous caricaturist, Albert Hirschfeld (June 21, 1903 – January 20, 2003) saw Tony Meredith and Melanie LaPatin dance at Jacob’s Pillow, invited them over to his house and then sketched them?! Talk about ICONIC! He’s best known for his black and white portraits of celebrities and Broadway stars in which he hid the name of his daughter Nina after her birth in 1945. Now our favorite Latin dancers are forever immortalized! Can you find the Ninas? Legendary!

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are super-homesick and can't wait to see everyone this weekend for their lessons! Though it's been less than a week, it feels like we've been gone forever! This is when you know the love is deep and real! As you know, we just permanently moved from the mainland for the islands and had this one last big round of good-byes on the east coast while we were back for our dear friend Maria's wedding in NYC! Not to mention everyone wants coaching time from Tony Meredith while he's stateside, too! We can't hog him completely! HA Let the countdown begin! We're coming!!!! We are so excited to announce our brand new Nightclub Series with Tony Meredith!!! This will be a fun and intensive course spanning four weeks! Every Sunday will be a different master class (Hustle, Nightclub Two Step, West Coast Swing and Salsa). Tony will be teaching an amalgamation of steps and technique to ensure we look our best! The series consists of four master classes, four celebrity coaching sessions and it all culminates with a Night Out on the Town where we'll have dinner as a group and go out dancing all night! It's a real-life laboratory-style application of the things you're learning in class! All guided and escorted by our teachers and staff! This series is exclusive to Aloha Ballroom Company students, so if you haven't started dancing with us, there's no time like the present! The first class is July 7th! Sign ups begin this Sunday!
