Kiteboarding 4 Cancer

KB4C harnesses the healing power of the elements, and community, to benefit lives affected by cancer.

KB4C results are in! The wind allowed 2.5 hours of derby for our athletes. This year, for the first time, teams had 2 members on the course at the same time!

This was our fastest and safest race course yet, allowing foils and traditional kiting on the same course.

And of course a HUGE thank you to for all your support ❤️

Our race committee is already excited for KB4C 2025 and good luck to everyone next year!

RACE RESULTS FROM THE 1 MILE SWIM 🤙🤙

These athletes absolutely killed it out in the water, and we love it! Remember, we also have a RELAY swim race tomorrow morning 8AM - 11PM. It’s not too late to put your team together and register for the relay!

KB4C is ON for Saturday, July 6th.

As we look at the forecast and see that the race will be shorter than usual, we have lowered the walk up registration price to $250.

We will have plenty of fun water related activities and games to do until the wind comes up in the afternoon. Jet ski rides, boat rides, SUP games, beach games, music, food, beer, RAFFLES, and loads of fun things to buy. Remember, we are fundraising for Project Koru, and give back to young adult cancer survivors.

Our Friday kick off party is also on with a movie premiere my Sensi Graves and Kylie Zarmati, music by Ten30 band.

See you this weekend!!

KB4C starts with YOGA! Johanna Siskar will be leading Hatha Yoga at the waterfront Friday and Saturday July 6 & 7 at 7:00-7:45 am.

From Johanna:
“I teach Hatha that back in 1999 was all Yoga of movement.
I have been certified by the school of Ananda Yoga, and studied under he school of Iyengar, those being the greatest influences in my teaching and practice.
I focus on alignment, restoring and increasing flexibility and the importance of calming and unifying the body and mind for meditation.
I teach foundational poses to open and prepare for the powerful challenges of the race. Holding poses with breath, to overall restore and relax.”
