Quapaw Community Center

The Quapaw Community Center will be closed May 26 and 28 for Memorial Day.

The Quapaw Community Center is offering swimming lessons for children starting June 12. Cost is $40.00. Class times to be announced but they will be in the afternoons. There will be 5 one hour lessons per session. Call 623-9922 to register. Payment must be made before June 12.

The Meditation Society of Hot Springs will be hosting a series of "Learn to Meditate" classes at the Quapaw Community Center. 11-12noon. Classes are free to those who are already members. $2 for non-members. For information call Sayrah Wolf 606 547-7024

Correction on Dog Obedience classes: Dog must have all their round of shots to participate.

The Quapaw Community Center will be closed December 23,24,25, and 26 for the Christmas Holiday.

Dog Obedience Classes
Classes begin January 9th at 5:30 pm. There will be on class per week for six weeks. Cost is $85.00 payable to Bette Volland. Must be paid before the start of the first class. Dogs must have their first round of shots and must bring shot records to first class. The first class will be without dogs.
Clicker training is available and the instructor will have clickers.

The Quapaw will be closed for Thanksgiving; November 24, 25 and 26.

We're now having yoga on Wednesday night 5:30 -6:30 pm taught by Miriam Deme. Free to members $5.00 for non-members.

The Dog obedience class has been canceled. I'll post when it's been rescheduled.

REMEMBER! The pool opens Monday morning!

The Webb Center is renting the pool Thursday March 24 from 12:45pm to 3:30 pm. So it will be closed at that time.

The pool will reopen Monday March 21.

The pool might not open Monday. The pool guy won't be there till Monday morning to fix the chemicals; so call be for making the trip in.

The Aerobics class has been changed from 10 am to 9 am.

During the pool closing the Quapaw will be offering an aerobics class in the gym at 10 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Alicia will be leading the class.

Basic dog obedience and clicker classes will be offered at the Quapaw Community Center, 500 Quapaw Avenue, starting August 16 through September 20 at 6:30 pm. Bette Volland will instruct the class in an air conditioned area of the center. Dogs will need all shots before start of class. Cost for this 6 week class is $85. Beginning tomorrow Friday June 25 a 6 week yoga class 5:15pm free for members; $30 for non-members.

Water Workout Monday-Saturday 10-11 am and Tuesdays & Thursday 5:30-6:15 pm.
Aqua Arthritis Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1-2pm.
All Classes are $5.00 for non-members
