👑What a week!!!

Park students, Emory Echols and Shelby Stokes, joined Miss Saline County, Sophe Sligh, who is Mrs. Sligh’s daughter, as she competed in the Miss Arkansas Pageant. Emory and Shelby served as two of Sophe’s Diamond Princesses. Both girls had a blast, looked beautiful, and represented Park Magnet so incredibly!!! We are so proud of Sophe, who made Top 15!!!

🎊Our Park Magnet Betas are thoroughly enjoying themselves at National Beta Convention in Savannah, Georgia! We are so proud of all that they have accomplished so far!

🥳 Congratulations, Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Boles!!!

🏬 Over the past six weeks, Park’s second graders have been inquiring into How We Organize Ourselves. Students learned how “economic systems influence the way people live”. As a summative project, students created their own goods (decorative pens, stress balls, painted rocks, etc.) and sold them to other graders levels in what they call Market Day!

💰On Tuesday, Park’s second graders had the privilege of donating all of their proceeds and presenting a $488.23 check to the City of Hot Springs Animal Services! We are so proud of our students and the second grade teachers for instilling the want to give to a worthy cause!

🐶 We also got to meet Petunia who was rescued and nursed back to health after suffering a severe injury to her paw!

🗓️ Today is the last day for Afterschool Daycare! Thank you for an incredible year!!! We will miss our kiddos!!!

📖 Each month, Principal Brandon, reads a special book that exemplifies our IB Learner Profile Attribute of the Month and our CKH Character Trait of the Month to kick off our learning! This month was no different and we were so enthralled in the book, The Empty Pot. Over the next few weeks, we will work as a school to learn how to be a PRINCIPLED IB leaner and show RESPONSIBILITY (CKH)!

Capturing Kids' Hearts

🩰Yesterday, Park’s pre-k, kindergartners, first graders, and second graders traveled to the Hot Springs Junior Academy to watch The Hot Cocoa Nutty Nutcracker performance by Hot Springs School District 7-12 Dance! Several Park students also performed! Maggie, Rowan, Emory, Braelyn, and Shelby were gingerbread girls! It was a day to remember!
