Last Friday, PPASA volunteered at the Houston Food Bank and helped with the Houston Food Bank’s Backpack Buddy program. The Backpack Buddy program provides at risk children aged K-12, who rely on school meals, with meals during breaks such as holidays and weekends. PPASA was able to help pack 1,200 backpacks which is about 7,200 meals for students! Thank you to all of our volunteers who came out and supported this event!

Our first general meeting of the semester will be on Thursday, February 8th from 6:30-8:00 pm💖 We can’t wait to see everyone back and hopefully some new faces as well! 💌💐

Blanket Making Social Recap❄️ Thank you to those who came out to the event. The blankets made were donated to March of Dimes just in time for the winter season and we enjoyed making a positive impact in the community💜

Join us for a fun field day collab with Alpha Epsilon Delta!🏁 We will be competing in outdoor games, like tug of war, three legged race, egg on a spoon, & more🏃‍♂️ There will be prizes for the winning team!

Thank you to everyone who came out and volunteered with us at the Houston Food Bank! The volunteers helped to package produce boxes for senior citizens in need throughout our community.

The group was also able to accrue 500 points towards the Houston Food Banks Hunger Games Challenge! If you were unable to attend this group event, you can still contribute to the cause and our team by signing up for a volunteer shift (50 pts), donating food (1lb =1 point), or through donations ($1 = 3 points )! Here are some key dates for the Houston Food Bank’s Hunger Games:

September 20th: Warehouse Wednesday Bonus Day - 250 bonus points
September 28th: Thursday Night Bonus Shift (6-9pm)
September 30th: Hunger Games Ends
