Marvin is one of our BAS Installation Specialists from our Houston DAC Branch. He's responsible for rewiring and connecting the AC units to ensure systems are back online and on the network so owners, building engineers, and DAC can remotely access their vital equipment. Marvin loves how his fellow team members work together to help each other, just like a big, loving family. Marvin enjoys reading novels next to a warm fire in his free time.

We’re celebrating month with career fairs across Houston and surrounding areas. We’re excited to meet a new generation of future construction professionals and further the industry through innovation and collaboration. We enjoyed attending the HCC - Houston Community College Career Fair at their beautiful Katy Campus yesterday.

It's ! Our company participated by conducting a fire drill to educate our employees about safe exit routes in case of an emergency. It's important to be prepared and ensure everyone's safety is top priority. Our Safety Coordinator, Rachal, did a wonderful job putting together and executing the drill. Safety is #1 for us at DAC.

National Night Out is a fun way for the community to meet neighbors and engage with local law enforcement as they work together to build a safer community. DAC proudly supported the North Houston District National Night Out celebration last week. When your company values align with an event like this, you make sure to show up!

Career fair season is in full swing, and DAC attended the HCC - Houston Community College Opportunity Knocks career fair in Stafford. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is fulfilling its mission to provide Veterans with the world-class benefits and services they have earned by constructing a 43,000-square-foot domiciliary building in Houston. The Domiciliary Care Program is the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) oldest healthcare program, with the purpose of creating a space for active clinical rehabilitation and treatment for Veterans. DAC is serving Veterans by providing cutting-edge security solutions for the new facility. Our team of experts installed building access controls, CCTV surveillance, intrusion detection, intelligent E-cylinders, and a secure network infrastructure. Our Houston branch Service Department met this morning in person and over video from our DAC Training Room to discuss safety, customer relations, and ways to improve workflow. Getting everyone from a department together to share breakfast on a Friday morning is always fun!

Today's mid-year company update meeting was full of insightful trends and valuable observations that can help shape the success of our organization. It was wonderful having all 150 DAC team members on a call to discuss our progress, direction, and vision for the future! Our people make us great; that is how we fulfill our purpose to build a better world through smarter infrastructure.

Lance is one of our TAB Technicians from our Houston DAC branch. He's responsible for setting up HVAC systems in commercial, educational, industrial, and life science environments. Lance routinely goes above and beyond when customer requests are made and ensures schedules are met. He's a solid leader in the TAB department and maintains a positive demeanor. One of his favorite things about working at DAC is diagnosing issues and developing solutions. During his free time, Lance enjoys cooking barbeque.

Today marks day three of in-house training for our Houston security team from a Bosch expert on Bosch Security and Safety Systems equipment. Our technicians are working hard in the DAC Training Room to learn and implement the new skills they've acquired for the technical equipment they handle for our customers. We do what it takes to get the job done.

Angel is one of our Project Supervisors from our Houston branch of DAC. As a Project Supervisor, Angel ensures his team fully understands the project scope and knows he is available for questions or issues. When he leaves a customer site, Angel communicates effectively with the customer and his team to ensure client satisfaction and a game plan for the project's next step. Angel loves working at DAC because his team has each other's back. They work as a unit, and no one fails because they are always on the same page. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cutting hair, boxing and traveling.
