There will also be hot chocolate, pan dulce, entertainment, health check-ups, food resources, raffle prizes, and fantastic giveaways. Bring your family along for a day of fun and support!

After a scorching summer, our Target Hunger gardens have been thriving in the cooler weather, especially with vibrant yellow squash! 🌞🌿🌼

The resilient nature of these crops after such a challenging season is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our garden team. They've weathered the heat and brought forth an abundance of nutritious, fresh produce for our community.

Yellow squash, with its vibrant color and delicious taste, serves as a symbol of perseverance and growth even in tough times. It's a reminder that despite challenges, we can still yield positivity and sustenance.

Alisson's journey from ESL classes at Community Family Centers (CFC) took an amazing turn when she sought food support for her family. 🍊

With help from Target Hunger, her daughter Lucy* received a free eye exam and glasses through Prevent Blindness Texas, transforming her learning experience. 👓

Beyond food aid, Alisson signed up for the United Way Integrated Client Journey (ICJ) for ESL support and job training. Target Hunger was also able to provide a gift card where she was able to purchase school supplies and uniforms, easing financial strain.🎒

Their gratitude echoes the impact—proving a simple inquiry for food sparked life-changing opportunities for Houston families! ✨🧡
