I have a book out! I cannot believe I seriously have a WHOLE book out right now! It is truly insane because who do I think I am overcoming fears like this?!?!!
I am in complete shock with myself because it isn’t just a little thought, or a post, or an intimate conversation with friends; I have successfully published a book that is my heart, soul, and innermost vulnerabilities in permanent ink. I literally just bust it wide open and put everything out into the Universe.🥴😭
This is wild…And truly healing for me. I can let go of all the reservations inside myself and no longer hesitate about sharing my gifts. I am DOING something bigger than me. My offerings hold significant value and I finally got myself to a space where I deemed the importance of it enough to not hold it in any longer.
Here’s to doing thing scared, moving through my anxiety, & taking the healing steps to affirm/shine my Light.

So often times we go through our day to day and don’t really think about our breath. The very thing that gives us life. We wake up, go to work, do our normal routines, and not once really take into account the power and importance of how we are breathing. For most people out there, breathing happens “naturally” through their chest because that’s how they’ve been programmed to breathe, especially when it comes to nostril breathing. However, in actuality, true breathing exists from the diagram, which makes sense because you’re able to take in more oxygen from the root to the crown, which is also anatomically how we’re supposed to breathe.
So you can imagine when you’re in an anxious or stressful state of mind, breathing may honestly be the very last thing on your mind. You’re in this fight or flight limbo; trying to to decide how to get away from all the overwhelming emotions or face them and realize none of it is real. The next time you encounter being anxious, I want you to make a fist and take a huge breath in, close your eyes & hold the breath, and as you exhale, imagine all the anxiety being released from your fingertips while you’re opening your hands wide. Repeat these steps about 3-5 times, & increase the routine as often as you need it until your heart rate begins to slow down, you feel your jaw a little more relaxed, and your body soften from the tension that has just released.
Always remember that you are bigger than your anxiety. I love you all. Have a great day.

That includes how you feel about yourself, care for your body, talk to your inner being, and what you feed it. Let love be at the forefront of your mind and nourish your Sol with loving kindness.
Your mind is cluttered. You’re always on the go. You’re procrastinating & you can’t get things done.
Stop spreading yourself thin and simply take a moment to be still in everything. Your thoughts, actions, & mundane tasks. You owe yourself that.
And while you’re at it, take a deep breathe & reassure yourself that everything will be ok.

I’m learning the hard way that my lack of elevation into who I desire to be is attributed to the internal blockages that exist as a result of some deep rooted healing that has yet to be explored. I’m finding that healing is my priority- not simply to be successful in life or to brag about it; but to uncover parts of me that have been forgotten, hidden, & dismissed for too long. When I consciously heal, I elevate… and elevation has no limitations ✨

What is your Why??
Mine is to heal myself so that I can assist others along in their self-healing practices. It’s not a matter of making a big change or being found out by millions.
It’s the daily commitment to unlearning, shedding, relearning, releasing, and absorbing all the Universe has to offer me in this lifetime to be able to pass along those gems to the few people I encounter here and there along my journey.
My Why is to show others that they can be the answer to their own problems, not looking to anything external but trusting their Sol within.
And so it is. And so it shall be.

This space that I’m in requires a lot more commitment to Self than ever before. To move past the old beliefs, actions, & behaviors in order to restore the parts of me that I forgot existed. To connect deeper with my Solar Plexus & Sacral Chakras so that the Light in me empowers others to see the Light(Power) in them. To know with certainty that these moments were made to transform my Sol into something far beyond my comprehension.
The levels that I’m trying to reach in this time have never before been seen in any of my visions. There was no planning, preparation, or heads up regarding where I am today to see where or what I’m headed towards. All I can do is stay present, give gratitude, & treat each day as the fullness of life that is awaiting my experience to live it. Waking up everyday like it’s the first and last days. No regrets. No worries. Just being here. Knowing that everything meant for me will come; everything interfering with what I’m meant to receive will vanish.
These are different times. This is my New World Order. 🌍
And so it is. And so it shall be.

I’ve been doing a lot of introspection and holding myself more accountable these days. We truly can be our own worst enemies but it’s often needed to go within and figure out what the source of the problem is that causes your energy to shift. It’s ok to check yaself often to ensure you aren’t projecting any frustration, fear, & insecurity onto another being.
I’m working on being more patient, gentle, & kind with myself while trying not to lose my sanity. I’m also exploring what it’s like to be more vocal about what triggers I still have and create a safe space for communication with those in my external world. In this process, I’ve also been very cognizant about shifting my perspective, looking at the glass half full, and pushing myself out of this space of feeling stuck. All in a day’s work Sol Tribe. Let’s continue to push through together.

I’ve heard that showering/taking a bath is the grandest form of self-care. Completely uninterrupted, time to yourself to reflect, let go, and refresh all parts of you.
Now I’m not suggesting to take 30 min in the shower (because, ya know, water conservation) but I would advise that your 5-15 minutes of cleansing be spent fully present. You can incorporate some self massage even, and allow yourself to wash away all the thoughts, actions, & beliefs that don’t serve you.
When we allow our SOL’s to be here in the now, the demands of your yesterday, today, & tomorrow become pushed aside on the priority list.
Remember to be gentle with yourself.

With this Full Moon in Leo, everything inside of me is ready to be let out. I can feel myself reaching new heights and excited to take back my power. Have you ever felt short tempered, on edge, or ready to explode from whatever is happening in your world?
It’s completely normal to experience these emotions yet we don’t often allow ourselves to process through and sort out why we’re feeling this way.
Whatever it is that’s causing some emotional turbulence in your life, I offer you to take a moment to sit with those emotions, take a mental health day, and give yourself an energetic reset.
Most times the answer is inside of us already but we are too busy to slow down and listen.
Let’s not be so hard on ourselves and know when we need to retreat. It’s ok to not be ok.

As an Air sign, I take my job very seriously to flow through life with intentional breath, movement, and flexibility. Flying, metaphorically speaking of course, takes an extreme level of focus, release of control, and willingness to be really light. Dancing Shiva (Parivrtta Hasta Padangusthasana)
Balancing poses symbolize the power & strength that is inside of me. When I challenge myself in poses that appear unattainable, I finish feeling empowered. I’ve always enjoyed doing balancing poses because it connects me to my dancing roots, hence why I chose dancing shiva. As a Libra, I’m always exploring ways to find balance, which majority of the time, are discovered through the constant changes that appear in my life.
Shiva means freedom or liberation in Sanskrit, and served as the God of both destruction and transformation. Often times when we are elevating our lives, we have to go through the chaos to find peace. Dancing Shiva embodies staying strong and rooted in your foundation while navigating the motion and changes of the pose. Shiva reminds me to be lighthearted in the midst of challenges, and uphold that blissful state so that I may liberate to higher heights.

Standing Wide Legged Forward Fold (Prasarita Padottanasana)
Took it easy with my go to inversions to honor my body and decided upon this lovely straddle fold to ignite various energy centers (chakras). Not only does this pose push the strength of my leg muscles, it also gives light to a lot of key areas of my body that I love to target (abs, core, hamstrings, low back, & pelvic muscles). Not to mention I always feel really empowered in an inversion, whether my feet are grounded or flying high.

Hips don’t lie! They reveal everything you need to know about yourself- where you hold tension, unresolved emotions, & how much pressure you put on other body parts when they aren’t open. I love to do pigeon pose because it keeps me in check on areas that I have yet to work through and where I’m not allowing myself to let go. My battle with tight hips have shown me how I need to improve my well-being while getting back to establishing my foundation.

Supine Spinal Twist (Supta Matsyendrasana)
Twists are really pivotal to my daily functioning because of my scoliosis. I’ve never had surgery but have dealt with major tightness and low back pain over the years. I love that supine twists help with my range of motion and circulating blood flow throughout my body. I also love when my back cracks and my spine feels heavenly 🤗
