Now there are 3. When I lived in my creative space. I had a vision of a wall full of floral paintings and now it looks like I’ll have a shelf full of them.
I love a fresh start. On the back I’ve written my journal and feelings for the day.

I’m working out what I’ve gone through in the past few years through these pieces. **Stealing time of course. i should be finishing my packing 😆

We are on our way to Maine for the long weekend.

I call these sisters.

These pieces are my journals that mark a beginning of a new chapter.

They tell the story of my growth and perseverance, as I overcome obstacles to create art in a safe space once again.

I'm mustering up the courage to assert my place in the world and my household with unshakeable belief in myself and my art.

I’ll keep creating flowers bit by bit 15 mins at a time

I am not creating as much.
I feel like my creativity has caused so much strife over the last few years that I think it’s just finally left. And hopefully that creative energy jumped into someone else who can nurture it.

At the moment I’m going through the motions and my sketchbook is my only saving grace at the moment.

I hope in time I can muster up enough energy to fight for my art and creativity. Until then taking it one day at a time.

I don’t know why women have to fight so hard to get rest.

I imagine it’s because if we got enough rest we could rule the world 👸
But keep us worn down and worn out and we are lucky to do bare minimum with our lives.

It’s ok to rest !

Anyone else get the Sunday scaries ?

I get so anxious on Sunday morning because I use my Saturday to do all my fun stuff. 😩
Sunday is for ALL the chores. 48 hours isn’t enough time.

What are your plans for today ?

I’m learning how to sneak in painting 15 mins here and there.
It’s becoming a skill I didn’t know I needed.

Taking advantage of time I have on my own.
Not ideal situation for creativity but it’s how I make it work.

Rushing through painting like fight or flight is something I’ve been accustomed to.

This is in my sketchbook so it’s ok be a bit hurried.

Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday.

We are spending our weekends making pottery.
It’s been a nice way to spend time together.
I’m struggling with switching from painting to painting with glazes. Adam is a much better student of ceramics while I’m just winging it.

Sticker Mule had a deal so I jump on it.
And then panicked because I didn’t know what to use for a sticker lol.

I picked this and I think it came out pretty cute.

I always love to send stickers when I send out art work.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who gave my art a new home.

This cutie (one of my favorites) will be making her way to Hudson New York. Which happens to me one of my favorite places in the United States. I’m jealous of this blue bunny ♥️
