Way to go, USDA - Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) !
The sodium nitrate content in uncooked pork/beef bacon exceeds the daily regulated limit! Well, Masters In Dietetics patients have never included these products in the meat group, so it should not be a big switch for you.

Numerous studies have found fruit and vegetable intake to be linked to emotional health. One study published in Frontiers in Nutrition found 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day to be linked to lower levels of stress related to worries, tension, and lack of joy. Another study in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics reported increases in subjective happiness scores when vegetable intake was increased.
Aim for a minimum of 5 servings of vegetables daily (1 serving = 1/2 cup cooked or 1 cup raw).
