Exciting news! 🎉 Our esteemed surgeon, Dr. Nikitha Reddy, is the 4th surgeon in Texas to implant the iDose device by Glaukos, making her among the first group of surgeons to perform this surgery. This innovative device offers a novel approach to managing glaucoma by continuously delivering medication directly to the eye for extended periods, providing intraocular pressure control.

We are committed to staying at the forefront of ophthalmic advancements and offering our patients the best possible care. Our patient has kindly agreed to allow us to share his story, and he is extremely happy with his experience and results!

Every patient is special to us and we are so grateful especially for the ones that come from far away! Last week, Dr. Slade performed cataract surgery on Mrs. Karen Frinzi, the wife of Mr. Tom Frinzi who many in our industry know as the CEO of Staar Surgical.  She came to Houston all the way from Newport Beach CA just to have Dr. Slade perform her surgery which is such an honor. 

Today, Dr. Stephen Slade was awarded the Steinert Award at the Refractive Day.

We learned today that Roger F. Steinert, MD, was a well-admired, well-loved, and multiple-awarded pioneer in cornea, refractive, and cataract surgery. We also learned he was “highly decorated, but humble” and honestly, we couldn’t use a better description for today’s winner of this award.

Dr. Slade has won countless awards and has been a true pioneer as one of the first surgeons in the U.S. to perform - we are so proud to see him win an award named after someone who came before him that modeled the same incredible qualities and talents ✨⭐️

Dr. Slade delivered the Steinert lecture and was handed the award by the current President of ASCRS, Vance Thompson M.D.
