Hey all, I’m Courtney Boyd-Maynard and I’m the trainer for Michigan. I hold my classes in a small town called West Branch. I have been certified with NovaLash since February of 2019, and I have never looked back. I fell in love with lashing and couldn’t wait for my next adventure, so jumped right into the NovaLash world and went on to become American Volume and London Volume certified. I had a full circle moment when I finally became a trainer (eeek!). I love training for so many reasons, but mainly because there are so many misconceptions and bad reputations that surround eyelash extensions, so I am able to bring to light the proper and safe way to apply a set of eyelash extensions. Not to mention the amazing people you meet along the way! I could never imagine using any other eyelash extension brand, NovaLash uses the highest standard of health and safety when creating products and methods of applying eyelash extensions. My passion for the beauty industry began when I was just 15 years old, and I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing people, including my mentor (my Mom), Michelle Mirizio, who taught me everything I know about eyelash extensions, particularly NovaLash. I now work at Lets Talk Makeup Studio in West Palm Beach, Florida and attend various trade shows throughout the year. As an artist, lashing is my favorite way to express my creativity, and it has brought so much joy and fulfillment to my life. I have been recognized as a Brand Ambassador 2019 and won Best Classic Lashes at the 2019 LASHoff competition. Trainer spotlight:

Lisa Ginel, Lic. Esthetician/Owner of LBL:Lash by Lash, brings with her a vast amount of beauty experience. Lisa’s work began working for Laura Mercier, introducing the infamous “face primer”. Since her days at department store counters Lisa went on to being a beauty spokesperson featured on Canada’s Shopping Channel, to working with an impressive list of celebrities, her work has been shown in talk shows, live musical entertainment shows, Housewives of Orange County and more. Lisa has worked with some of the best doctors and their celebrity clients. Lisa realized she ultimately enjoyed working with clients to service their needs. The lash industry hit hard on the beauty scene and Lisa knew this new beauty service was here to stay, but had an uneasy feeling with some of the “fads” the lash industry was lending itself to. I first discovered my passion for eyelash extensions through an article in an eyelash magazine. It immediately felt like my calling. In 2006, I took my first class in eyelash extensions and loved it so much that by 2007, I became a trainer. Prior to this, I had spent over 20 years as a nail technician and trainer for a nail company before deciding to make a career shift.

NovaLash is more than a job to me; it’s a lifestyle. I eat, sleep, and live NovaLash. Over the years, I’ve taught thousands of students and have earned a reputation for excellence in the industry. You can find me perfecting my craft at my studio, Let’s Talk Makeup in Downtown West Palm Beach, or representing NovaLash at various trade shows.

With a remarkable tenure of 30 years in the beauty business and 20 years as a lash stylist, she has become a respected figure in her field.

A dedicated and passionate professional, Janice holds the prestigious Triple NovaLash Certification, signifying her extensive expertise and commitment to excellence. Her outstanding skills and contributions have earned her the NovaLash Gold Standard award, and she has twice been honored as a NovaLash Brand Ambassador. Her passion for education and mentorship is evident in her role as an Advance Trained NovaLash Trainer and a NovaLash Virtual Trainer, where she has imparted her knowledge to students across the country and around the world.

Ali Alaniz Rivera has over 20 years of experience in the cosmetics and spa industry. Her previous work experience and training as a Licensed Esthetician, Makeup Artist, and Outside Skincare & Sales Consultant have allowed her to go beyond the basics in class and enhance her students' learning experience. Her determination and eagerness to help students, trainers, and college instructors learn the eyelash extension process, provides an unmatched learning environment for the NovaLash method. Her past six years experience as the Master Trainer for NovaLash Corporate included generating customer support programs, product sales and trade shows, writing and developing training protocols, certifying in-house national trainers and working with schools for the 320-Hour Specialty License. She has been certified to teach our NovaLash Classic Technique, American Volume, Trainer Curriculum, Continuing Education and NovaLash Lash Professor 320-Hour Programs. She has been recognized as the 2016 Trainer of the Year and celebrates almost 13 years with us. My name is Shannon Murphy and I’m the New York Novalash Trainer. My passion for eyelashes started when I was very young so turning that passion towards eyelash extensions was very easy for me. Meet our Arkansas trainer Brandy Kyle! 💚
While pursuing her esthetics and cosmetology certifications, Brandy fell in love with the NovaLash brand and added their training programs to her educational portfolio. She has been lashing since 2016 and remained loyal to NovaLash her entire career. Due to her expertise and branding efforts, Brandy was selected to be the NovaLash trainer for the entire State of Arkansas.
