We hope you all enjoyed your Christmas holiday and will enjoy and stay safe on New Years! We wanted to give an update moving into 2024. To better serve your pets, and keep stress levels down, we have decided to have separate lobbies for dogs and cats :) The main lobby that you are used to coming into, will be our dog side, and our cat side will be through the hallway in the other room a lot of you have walked through to get to an exam room. If you have both a cat AND a dog with you, please sit on the dog side. There are also treat bars set up in both lobbies for your furry family members! This will be trial and error for a few weeks and we really appreciate you bearing with us in this transition! Happy Holidays!

Goodmorning! Today, 12/21 we will not have a doctor available from 8a-10a. If your pet is having a medical emergency please go to your nearest urgent vet or emergency room. ‼️LakeCross veterinarians and staff ask that if your dog is coughing, hacking, wheezing, sneezing, or has a runny nose, PLEASE stay in your vehicle and call us when you get to your appointment @ 704-948-6300. Please try your hardest to avoid boarding, dog parks, play dates, daycare and even petsmart/petco trips with your dog. Our goal is to keep every pet healthy and happy 😊 thank you so much and we hope everyone stays well and safe!

Next week, October 15th-October 21st is National Veterinary Technician Week! Our technicians work so incredibly hard to give their heart, energy and soul to your pets and their care. October 1st is National Black Dog day!

This was created back in 2012 to help promote awareness for black dogs. Did you know that solid coated darker or black dogs are less likely to be adopted than any other coat color?

We love all dogs, no matter the breed, size, or color! Let's see those darker/black dogs that you have! Post a photo in the comments ❤️

We will be closed MONDAY May 29th for Memorial Day. We will return to normal business hours, 7:30am-6pm on Tuesday, May 30.

Happy Easter weekend from LakeCross Veterinary!

We know that with Easter comes the beautiful lily flowers. Please note that these are extremely toxic plants to your cat friends and often times become fatal if ingested.

We now sell Bravecto and Revolution Plus!

🔸️Bravecto is a flavored pill for dogs that prevents fleas and ticks for 3 MONTHS!!! It is not recommended for dogs under 6 months of age.

Day 4 and 5!!

Day 4 was sports / team day and day 5 was fantasy day!

We had so much fun this week for our tech week spirit week!!! ❤️❤️

Day 2 and day 3 of tech/spirit week!

Day 2 was throwback day! (80's, 90's and then there's one who took it way back to the 1800's🤣)

Day 3 was wacky sock day!

Day 1 of tech week/spirit week is crazy hair day! 🤣❤️🤪🐱🐶

This coming week is Vet tech/assistant appreciation week! Our team chose SPIRIT week to celebrate, so if you see the staff looking strange and silly this week, that is why!

Technicians/assistants are a HUGE help to animal hospitals and doctors around the world. They pour their heart, dedication and whole life into caring for animals. Please give them a big thank you this week if you are in with your pet, or just simply leave a nice comment below so they can see how appreciated they are!

Some clients have asked if we accept snacks for them this week, the answer is YES! if you would like to bring something by to celebrate them this week, you absolutley may!

Tomorrow we will be closed during lunch, 12pm-2pm, for team building! Otherwise, we will be operating as normal!
