Hello my name is Serena. Please, is there somebody who can help with an intervention with my sister Tania who lives in Huntington Beach LA. Tania has been an alcoholic for more than 20 years. She is now at a point where I am worried that she will die. She does not have a job anymore, no money and she drinks all day lying in her own p**s and vomit. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. She has a son, who lives nearby but he is fearful, embarrassed and lost about the way forward. Last week I persuaded him to take her to the hospital, (after the cops were at her flat and AA Crisis centre could do nothing as she was not trying to commit su***de). She was 5 times over the legal limit, she should be in a coma! Her belly is distended, but she is soo skinny….. Please can someone help me as to how I would go about an intervention and try to persuade her to get help or go to a rehab. If there is someone in the area who could help save her, please contact me if you can help. I am on the other side of the world and don’t know what to do to help my sister from here.
