Township Theatre Group will hold auditions for the staged reading of “Motherhood Out Loud”, a collection of funny and heart-warming monologues and conversations that showcase all the facets of family and parenting through the eyes of mothers. Variety called this play “chicken soup for the mom”. Roles for 4-8 actors of all genders, ages 25-65 years. Monday, August 21 and Tuesday, August 22 at 7:00pm at Temple Beth El, 660 Park Avenue in Huntington (parking & entrance in rear). Performances October 26-29. TTG is looking for 2 actresses to perform with our Touring Company. There are 5 Performance dates from Sept 17 to Oct 29, 2022.
1. For the role of Briana, we need someone who can play 22-28 years old. She is described as a brash vegetarian who lives at home.
2. For the role of Clara, we need someone who can play 34-44 years old. Clara is described as beautiful and has Celiac's disease.

Nick Damadeo (Bastien Andre) - Nick is happy to be back at TTG, where he has appeared in The Odd Couple (Oscar), Last of the Red Hot Lovers (Barney), and Cactus Flower (Julian). Thanks to John and Susan and a very talented cast. Love and thanks to June for all her support.

Ray Gobes Jr (Hans Von “Dutchy” Bismarck) - Ray is very happy to make his return to TTG where he performed years ago as Paul in Barefoot in the Park and as Tim Billings in Meet My Husbands and where he directed Run For Your Wife. Last month Ray portrayed Dickie in Fox on The Fairway and right before that, in March, as Mr. Van Dann in The Diary of Anne Frank. Yes, it’s been quite a year, so far! Prior to that he had taken a long hiatus from theatre to pursue film and TV work. Other favorite roles include A Christmas Carol (Bob Cratchit), Guys & Dolls (Nathan Detroit), Doubt (Father Flynn), Anything Goes (Lord Evelyn) and Romeo & Juliet (Friar Lawrence). His true passion, second only to his wife and kids, is acting, and he hopes you get as much out of this production as he gets out of performing in it for you. Ray is excited to be working with some very dear friends and a few new ones who will surely join that distinction.

Joe Kassner (Millet/Tillou) - Joe is thrilled to finally have the opportunity to do this show after a 2 year delay!!! Joe was last seen onstage as Rooster Hannigan in Chutzpah Repertory's production of Annie, a role he also played at the Broadhollow Theatre. Other roles at the Broadhollow include Cosmo in Singing' in the Rain, Munkestrap in Cats and Hysterium in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He also performs frequently at Star Playhouse in Commack where favorite roles include Man in Chair in Drowsy Chaperone, Frederick Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein, and Sir Robin in Spamalot.

Elizabeth DeGennaro (Madame Bathilde) - Elizabeth is thoroughly enjoying her return to the TTG mainstage. She was last seen as Myra Bruehl in Death Trap. Elizabeth has also performed with TTG's Library Touring Company in various roles. Elizabeth has worked in LI theatre for over 30 years. Among her favorite roles are: Jeanette in Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Abby in Arsenic and Old Lace, Jack’s Mother in Into the Woods, Meg Boyd in Damn Yankees, Rosie in The Wedding Singer, Sr. Mary Lazarus in Sister Act and Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady. A retired music teacher, Elizabeth has also worked as Musical Director for many Theater and school productions across long Island.

Barbara Schuler (Madame Caron) - – Barbara is thrilled to be back on the TTG stage where oh so long ago she made her first Long Island appearance as Myra Buhl in Deathtrap. She went on to perform in many more shows, most recently in That Thing with Feathers in Northport Plays’ One-act festival. Favorite roles include Lottie Childs in Crazy for You; Polly/Lady Margaret, Play On; Mrs. Upson, Gloria Upson, and Sally Cato, Mame; Gorgeous, Sisters Rosenweig; Cassie, Rumors; Barbara Kahn, Social Security; Eve, Back to Methuselah; Chastity, Anything Goes; Madame Renaud, La Cage aux Folles; Bernice, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. She can also be seen performing all over the Island with the Step Sistas, a senior tap company.

Karen Santaromita (Marie LeRoux)
Karen is excited to be cast in this production with TTG and is thrilled to be working with such a funny, talented cast. She previously appeared in many productions on the TTG stage including A Chorus Line (Sheila), Murder on the Nile (Kate) and Witness for The Prosecution (Romaine). Other favorite Long Island theatre credits include: The King and I (Lady Thiang/ Anna), Different: The Lincoln Musical (Mary Todd Lincoln), Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown), The Music Man (Marian), Kiss Me Kate (Lilli/Kate), Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins) and A Comedy of Errors (Adriana).

Kevin Clyne (Phelim O'Shaughnessy)
Kevin is grateful to John and TTG for the opportunity to join this talented cast. Previous acting endeavors include The 39 Steps, Other Desert Cities, Next Fall, The Laramie Project, Rabbit Hole, The Rainmaker, Moon Over The Brewery, Mauritius, A Comedy Of Errors, Rumors, and Becky's New Car. He has written some one-minute plays for the Gi60 Festival at Brooklyn College, and the University of Leeds.

Mark Santaromita - Agamemnon "Chicago" Buckner
Mark is very excited to be returning to TTG. He has been acting across Long Island for a few years. Some of his credits include: Edgar Beane/Joseph Bell in Titanic, LT Daniell Kaffee in A Few Good Men, Diamond Louie in The Front Page and Dromio of Ephesus in Comedy of Errors. He would like to thank John, Susan, and Betty for giving him the opportunity to be a part of such a funny and wonderful show and work with such a wonderful cast. Finally, much love to his wife Karen for her love and support.

Stacey Portmore-Davies - Cecile LeRoux
Stacey received her MFA in Directing from CUNY Brooklyn College. Most recent acting credits include parts in: Love, Loss and What I Wore, Calendar Girls, Catch Me if You Can, Fox on the Fairway, Run for Your Wife, Barefoot in the Park, The Odd Couple, as well as parts in several one-acts in past Northport One-Act Festivals. Directing credits include: 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Calendar Girls, On Golden Pond: Township Theatre Group, Almost Maine: SUNY Farmingdale, Alzheimer's Diary and Fair Shake: Northport One Act Festivals, Extremities: Molloy College, The Golden Fleece: A/NY Theatre Company, True West: Brooklyn College, Pippin: SUNY Albany, as well as many musicals at Carrie Palmer Weber Middle School in Port Washington, where she is an 8th grade English teacher.
Emergency Cast Call:
Township Theatre Group is still looking for a male actor (30-50) to play the part of Dutchy in Mark Twain's hilarious comedy "Is He Dead?", as adapted by David Ives. Good comic timing as well as a passable, not necessarily perfect German accent is required. Show dates are June 18, 19, 25 and 26 in Huntington.
