Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering

The Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering is the nation's first and only high school focused on integrating cyber technology into the engineering life cycle. With 367 students hailing from over 81 Alabama cities and towns, ASCTE is a national leader in STEM Education, with seniors graduating with a full-time internship experience with one of our Partners in Education. Tuition is FREE. Entry points are for rising Alabama 9th and 10th graders.

Exciting News from ASCTE! 🎉

In 2024, our amazing students have outdone themselves:
• 257 students earned a whopping 246 qualifying scores on their AP exams!
• We now boast 60 AP Scholars (including 24 at the Honors/Distinction Level)!
• An impressive 40% of our graduates become AP Scholars, having passed at least 3 AP exams.
• 80% of all students have earned at least one qualifying score, including our incredible Freshmen!

Way to go, Sentinels! Your hard work and dedication are truly inspiring. Let's keep setting the !

As we prepare to begin the 2024 Commencement Exercises for the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering, we proudly announce that the Class of 2024 has earned over $10 million in Merit Aid Scholarships and has earned admission to 85 colleges and universities.

In the Class of 2024, 4 are National Merit Finalists, 2 National Merit Commended students, and 3 Presidential Scholar candidates.

Our Sentinels continue to amaze us and we are thrilled to champion their next steps.

Graduation will stream live this Friday, May 17th at 6 p.m.

Happy Teacher and Nurses Appreciation Week! You go above and beyond day in and day out for our students. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we appreciate everything you do for us.

ASCTE outdoor track team dominated at State and set some impressive records. Audrey King took home 1st in the 300 hurdles, while Jamrion Willie-Hughes and Jalen Venter crushed the 100m dash, taking 6th and 7th place. Elijah Brown also placed 3rd in discus. Congratulations, Sentinels!
