We were blessed of having the opportunity to collaborate along with other amazing floral artists, brainstorming and creating beautiful floral pieces representing each recognition event within the NAACP 114th Convention at the Convention Center-Seaport. First thanks go out to The Almighty, then each individual who labored long hours with a joyous heart! The theme for this design was ‘Glow’ ACT-SO. Art-Deco vases were white, Wesley of PJf brought them to live with his spray painting magic.

Did you know that Hyde Park has been first on many historical accomplishments throughout women’s history? The 1st Afro-American doctor (Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler, 1860’s), 1st voting rights equality rally lead by the Grimké Sisters, (Angela and Sarah 1870’s) and many others, past and present. The Women’s Tea, as it was titled, celebration was a way to remember and honored these exemplary ladies sadly, 2023 was the last celebrating event. We had the honor of being the chosen ones to decór their ‘family pride’ room and awards with beautiful flowers all these years. Thank you to all the present ladies who trusted and believed in our devotion. Hyde Park Pride forever! PJf
