Fisher's Applewood BBQ

Wrapped up a BIG weekend in the Finger Lakes with 200 awesome hungry folks getting the best Applewood BBQ around - I barely finished the last few welds on the new smoker about 30 minutes before rolling out but it got done just under the wire and the food was drop-dead delicious!!!

#2 is coming along, gotta finish up for a 200-head event on Labor Day!

Last week was tremendously fun cooking bbq at a youth camp! I had a chance to hone my beef skills and I think I'll be adding brisket to my menu soon - this brisket photo here is what they call the "money shot"... so juicy!!! I had to sit down when I took a bite, lol 🙂

Trying to open the stand as much as I can this year, with more events than in previous years it's tough and busy. A good friend dropped off a load of apple a few weeks ago - nicest people on earth!!! I might have to hit them up one more time this summer considering how busy it's been. I'm also thinking about how to work out winter business, maybe a smokehouse of some kind?

Friday was long, warm and pretty much perfect :)

After over 9 hours of mixing spices, breathing smoke, watering pans, feeding the fire, and balancing the draft.... when the opening moment finally arrives, everything is gone 90 minutes, lol.

I wouldn't trade it for anything 😊🍖❤️

Monday was a blast!!! My daughter's team got a win and so did these amazing ribs! 🍖🍖🍖

So, instead of making more smokers, the direction I settled on was increasing portability... So I'm building a food truck-trailer, using my existing smoker, but making the whole thing self-contained... so this should make year-round operation and different locations possible!
