Filler Family Farm All Out Of Effs
Small hobby farm and rescue
Guess who is proud of their work? Yea this goofy girl. Take 3 at trying to keep pumpkins from the cows. I keep telling them to not eat the plants because I’m guessing pumpkins taste better. Hopefully this year will work out.
Find me a happier pig!
I will wait….
Beautiful day out!
And the cows agree!
We got out and walked some laps with the cows tonight. What a beautiful day!
We started cleaning out the garden last week when it was nice but decided to let the professionals handle it the rest of the way.
We haven’t gone anywhere!!
Took some time away to disconnect from the crazy internet. (I highly recommended it)
Still get to cuddle with our favorites every day and give belly rubs.
D**k was extra cuddly today and even gave me a smile.
Time to start garden planning now!!
As a famous gardenern once said “Turn off the news and go plant a garden”
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Everyone lines up for dinner time! Someone always has to pose for the camera I guess.
If anyone has messaged us about pumpkins. My messenger is being odd. Please send us another msg with a reply on this post please. Thank you all again.
Thank you all so much for the pumpkins!! Everyone is loving them.
Happy Halloween from Starlight and the rest of the farm 🖤
Last little harvest before the freeze tonight. We had a great garden this year and I’m so grateful for the food we have ready for winter!
It’s that time of the year! Pumpkin time. On average the US waste 103 million pounds of food and pumpkins are one of the most wasted food. After you are done this year please consider donating to the farm for some animal recycling. We will take non painted and treated pumpkins for the farm animals. If anyone could help in neighborhoods to collect pumpkins we would greatly appreciate to help save time and gas. Thank you all as always!!
We had 3 bags of this dog food donated to us. We would like to pass this on to someone in need. A cat got into one bag but I have sealed it back up. Please send us a msg if you need one.
Thanks!
It’s always nice watching a storm roll in. Just not as fun when your in the middle of feeding. Free shower for all.
To the fine person who decided to try to steal some of our equipment I hope your having a great day. Mine is sure going to be a lot harder doing farm chores. If anyone happens to of seen anything on Vandergriff please let us know. Thanks!
Also anyone know how to put in a new ignition in a Kubota?
In case you wondered what it sounds like to trim a pig’s tusk…… It is painless and lasted about a second or two longer than this video. And really it likely made him feel better. He just wanted everyone within six counties to hear he was unhappy 🐷
Hopefully we’re not tempting fate by sharing that they’ve been behaving, but this is so true!
If you ever think of the time you did a balloon release and wondered if it impacted the family member you did it in honor of- it did not. The more realistic end to your celebration is the suffering of a wild animal or livestock. Your litter ended up in their home. Possibly even in their actual food source.
Tonight, our 12 year old son noticed something shiny in one of our cows mouth. He jumped the gate and was able to pull this much out. We tried to do a more thourough check- but who knows if and how much she might have gotten ahold of. Here is to hoping that was it and she was the only one who got to it.
Nothing to see here. Pig is just waking up from a mid day nap. So jealous.
Pumba says let the sprinkler stay on! He love getting sprayed off. We made a nice mud bath but it dried in 4 seconds.
It’s going to be a fun week with the heat! May is supervising the new refill of cold water. Stay safe
If looks could kill! I was a bit late for diner and D**k was not a happy camper. A good ear scratch solved the issue.
Time to make some salsa. My amazing wife has been working in the new garden and this is a small amount of tomatoes so far.
It was a stare down tonight at the barn. Not sure if she wants more food or is saying stay away from my diner!
Nice afternoon for a stroll in the back yard. Got some odd stares from a few of the owners back in the pasture but i think they were ok with it.
First day back to school. We tried to get Mayflower to hold a first day of school sign but I think she preferred to eat it!
So I’m not a master gardener by any means but I’ve mastered growing grass in the bed of my truck. Might plant a few tomatoes and start a mobile garden.
I thought cats are supposed to be scared of cucumbers? Luna was trying to eat some of them but she is a crazy one.
Cucumbers are coming in nice so far. Just gotta start picking them soon.
Bean did it again….. he is a one man weedeating crew! Not sure how much longer he will be able to jump fences 😂😂😂
