My time as a graduate student in Computer Information Science at IUI School of Science has been nothing short of incredible. Not only did I receive a top-notch education in my field, but I also had the opportunity to engage with a vibrant international student community that enriched my experience. Serving as an International Student Ambassador allowed me to create meaningful connections with fellow students from around the world while contributing to campus life through community engagement content creation. I am grateful for the countless memories created during my time at IUI.

A sociology major provides a valuable perspective on the complex social world we live in.
The Bachelor of Arts in Sociology program gives students the concepts, perspectives, and tools to examine important current social issues such as inequality, changing technology and communication, movements for racial justice, the effects of climate change, and the social factors that influence health.
We offer many of our classes in both face-to-face and online formats. There are also frequent opportunities for students to complete independent study courses, internships, classes with service learning/community engagement components, and honors contracts.

"As a sportsmaniac, IU Indianapolis is the ideal place to study. IU Indianapolis is downtown, which is surrounded by the Pacers (NBA), Colts (NFL), Indians (MLB-3A), and the NCAA headquarters. Remember the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which hosts the Indy 500 every year and is still the largest single-day sporting event in the world. Besides, people here are super friendly, and everyone has "Hoosier Hospitality." It made it easier for me to feel comfortable around them right away."

Anthropology is the study of human culture, biology, and social interaction across time and place. It includes the archaeological investigation of past and present human material culture; ethnographic study of contemporary cultures around the world and in the United States.

Increasing numbers of deaf people seek the communicative access that interpreters provide, and this access is mandated by legislators, yet there is a shortage of qualified interpreters nationally and locally. IUPUI's American Sign Language (ASL)/ English Interpreting Program is one of very few baccalaureate degree programs available in the country.

Students develop their abilities in ASL and English, analyze features of ASL and English, discuss ethical issues, and perform guided practice with both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
