Last week, we celebrated the end of our 70th year of service right where it all began.
In what is now the Saint Joseph Hall event center in Downtown Indianapolis, the original Noble School was founded in 1953 by a group of parents of children with disabilities, wanting them to have a formal education in a time when they could not attend public school.
Noble has grown and adapted to our social landscape in several ways since then, and we don't plan to stop now!
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone, and to all of our community members for your endless support 💚
Tomorrow is the day!!

Dream It. Live It.
Noble was founded in 1953 by parents of children with developmental disabilities who ignored their doctors’ advice to put their children in institutions or shelter them at home. Realizing that their children had abilities and talents to share, they formed Noble School to offer what society would not: an education. Over the years, the organization has evolved to meet the changing needs of the people we serve, ultimately becoming Noble.
From every corner of our community, three Central Indiana sites, and one in Richmond, we now offer a wide variety of services, including:
-First Steps Early Intervention Therapies for Infants and Toddlers
-Respite and Educational Forums for Families
-Summer Day Camps for School-Age Children
-Project SEARCH and School-to-Work Transition Services for Teens
-Community Living Residential Services
-Music and Recreational Therapies and Behavioral Services
-Community Integration Adult Day Services and Therapeutic Art
-Employment Services
We serve over 3,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities like Down syndrome and autism each year. Our mission is to expand opportunities and enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families through individualized services.
