Little Angel Gowns is an organization that transforms wedding dresses into beautiful burial gowns for babies who are called to their heavenly home. Almost everyone knows some who has suffered the loss of a baby or perhaps even endured the pain themselves. These beautiful garments are provided as a gift to grieving family. Our hope is the recipient family experiences a measure of relief and comfort in knowing their loss has been acknowledged in a most personal way.

Last night we unveiled our “Angels in White” tree at the Indiana Historical Society’s VIP Reception for the 2023 Festival of Trees. Thank you to our all of our volunteers who made ornaments and helped to decorate the tree and the donors who supported us. We are all very proud. Each LAG Seamstress/Sewists who entered the contest will receive one free calendar. If you want additional copies, they are $10 each. Please PM me if you would like to purchase calendars and I will set aside for you. As soon as I receive your donation, I will mail out to you or you can pick up. Thank you to all who participated.
Okay…I know you’ve been waiting a long time to see who the winner of the 2024 Little Angels Gowns calendar contest is. The winner of the contest is featured on the cover of the calendar.  Well, you’re gonna have to wait a little longer, but I am on my way to pick up the calendars now. Stay tuned!

Mark your calendars for November 10, 2023 through January 6, 2024, and plan to visit the Indiana Historical society‘s annual Festival of Trees. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary, and Little Angel Gowns will be entering a tree this year. IHS expects 20,000 visitors and everyone will get a chance to vote for their favorite tree. The winner will be featured in the IHS member magazine and receive the People’s choice award. More information as soon as it’s available. so plan to visit and vote!
