CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!!! Saturday September 21, 9-1 a.m.
The project at Monon and 86th street is looking for volunteers this weekend! The project install needs to be removed between 9 am and 1pm on Saturday 21, 2024.
If you have shovels bring them along. They are looking for 12 people to take up the rumble strips while police support is available. Bollard and marking tape removal is also needed.
In addition to the project removal this weekend, the project also needs the following helps:
Assistance with evaluation of traffic study videos. Timeframe - between September 21 & October 15. Would involve watching the videos and looking for and tabulating specific things like running red lights, crossing against signals, etc.
Taking and distributing the Safety Survey #2 (survey ends 9/30/24) at this link:

This Sunday, September 8th Bike Party Indianapolis is conducting Test Ride #2 for the September ride. If you'd like to participate meet at Fletcher Park (1429 East Brookside Avenue) at 2pm.
Wow! What a great ending to our "Explore the Trails on your Bike" 3-ride series in collaboration with Indy Parks and Recreation. It was our largest group yet. We enjoyed the newly paved Pogue's Run Trail and also received some great historical information along the way from Dan Lake, co-chair of the Pogue's Run Waterway committee (Thanks Dan!).
