When you hear the words "third places" what comes to mind?
Third places are the locations that we are drawn to that exist outside of our homes and work.
There are several examples of this. Think of the park you may frequent when the weather is nice or the coffee shop where you routinely catch up with a friend.
Third places help build familiarity with our communities and the people around us.
Stay tuned for an exciting opportunity to win 2 free tickets to INRC's 3rd Annual Jubilee on Oct 10.
Attendees can look forward to Creative Placemaking activities, food, free beer and wine, an incredible view at Salesforce Tower, and more!
Our Creative Placemaking Program began in 2020 with the ultimate goal of funding grassroots projects that bridge people and their communities together in creative ways. It was made possible by Lilly Endowment’s Strengthening Indianapolis through Arts and Cultural Innovation grant.
INRC staff held trainings on topics such as Appreciative Inquiry, Asset-Based Community Development, and Project Management to support the success of the projects.
Through the program over $140K has been distributed to neighbor-led projects.
With the final projects wrapping up this year, we are celebrating the program's incredible impact at our Jubilee fundraiser.
Join us for our 3rd Annual Jubilee on October 10th at 5:30 PM for Creative Placemaking activities, food, drinks, and connection!
