2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility/Explorer. It is equipped with the 3.7L V6 engine and the mileage sits at 136,531. It is fresh out of the shop where it got 4 new tires, a fresh full synthetic oil change and rear brakes (Pads & Rotors). Not only did the shop NOT find anything else that needed to be repaired or replaced, but they also said that it looked like whoever owned this car took very good care of it. All fluids were proper and fresh. Yes, it has some miles on it, but it runs and drives really great. Hot heat & cold A/C. The open spaces in the console are being filled in with the proper blank filler plates and it is getting its interior cleaned up today. I am marketing and selling this car as a fully functional police vehicle so the buyer must possess the proper credentials to take possession with the red & blue lights. INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Passive Security Solutions is looking for our next, new team member for the position of Installation Technician to join us as we continue to grow. If you enjoy working on vehicles, if you are driven, hardworking & honest, reach out to us. This position calls for working on a wide range of public safety and commercial vehicles to include installing the equipment that turns a regular vehicle into a police vehicle. Applicants with a background as a mechanic, car audio or
12-volt wiring is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Pay will vary and is based on experience.

Essential Duties:
● Prepare & dis-assemble vehicles for installation/removal of equipment
● Installation of equipment, warning lights, two-way radios, in-car video systems, radar, etc…
● Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, replace components
● Maintain records of wiring and installation of projects
● Maintain an orderly and clean working environment
● Work hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30-5:00 (40 hour work week)
● Reliable transportation
● Able to communicate and work well with others
● Valid driver’s license
● Proficiency with hand/power tools; having your own tools is optional
● Must be detail oriented, reliable and have excellent time management skills
● Ability to lift 50 pounds, sit, stand and bend for periods of time inside vehicles
● Background check required
● Dependability, integrity & punctuality are a must
● Ability to identify colors, sounds and small print on a variety of objects
● Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certification is a plus but not required

Not good news. Prayers for all

We got the keys to our first location 6 years ago today! From our humble beginnings and a very empty shop we have managed growth every single year and we will end 2022 with another very respectable performance. We have dozens and dozens of loyal customers and we touch hundreds of cars each year. I would like to thank these customers and say that none of this would be possible without you. PSS loves and values all of you! I would also like to thank my wife and my children. I could not have done ANY of this without your love, trust and support. Merry Christmas everyone!

We are currently growing and are looking for a 12 volt INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Do you have experience installing lights and equipment in/on emergency vehicles? Do you have experience installing car stereos? Are you mechanically inclined? Do you love cars and trucks in general? We are currently looking to fill apprentice level job openings.
We sell and install anything and everything you can imagine would be in/on a police vehicle. We work on many other types of emergency response vehicles as well.
Work hours are Monday thru Friday 830am-500pm. Please contact David at 317-288-5150 for information. Experience is very much desired, but not required. We will train the right person. Pay will be based on your level of experience.
