‼️HIP MOBILITY‼️
Why look at it? 🧐
The hips are mobile joints between 2 stable joints, low back and knees.
When the hips don’t move, those two joints can develop some pain.
However, if the hips are too mobile, those two joints can develop pain as well.
If that’s the case, strengthening the hips not stretching is the best thing to do.
That’s why it’s important to look at the mobility and stability of your joints!! 🙌

This works on opening the hips and upper back!
Squat down hands inside your knees then lift one hand up. Do the other then grabbing your toes lift your hips. This will stretch your hamstrings.
This isn’t for everyone, especially if you have knee issues.

Working on body control helps with balance.
BOTH are great tools to prevent falls or lessen the injury from a fall.

Take a lap to cool down and think about things. 😅

It’s not cardio.

Instead, do them like Dan is doing them here.
Pushups from your knees won’t cause you to get hurt.
They don’t challenge your core as much as these do!!
Pushups are meant to be an arm AND a core exercise.
The higher your chest the easier it is. Start high then work your way lower.
You can do these at home!
Go off the back of your couch.
Make sure your body stays in a straight line like Dan.

Pulling the sled is a great way to work your legs even if you have knee pain!
You DON’T have to do just squats to work your legs.
Sled pushing or pulling works the same muscles as squats WITHOUT putting a lot of stress on your knees.

She’s trying to get as many as she can within 10s.
But why??🤔
The speed at which you lift weight has different effects on the muscle.
Here we are trying to fatigue the muscle by moving lighter weight fast. .
This helps with muscle endurance.
For strength, you move the weight slower and it’s heavier.
Speed of which you lift the weight is one of other variables you can change to mix up your workouts!

This exercise is really good at working your glutes.
Strong glutes helps with low back pain.
