When legislation in a fairly new area like AI is being considered, it’s important to bring the voice of business to the table. OCBC got to do just that as we brought together local business and community leaders to share their concerns with Senator Tom Umberg at OCBC’s AI Forum yesterday. As the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, the gatekeeper committee for AI, Sen. Umberg gave an update about bills in Sacramento, and was also able to hear from Orange County leaders across various sectors from health care to higher ed, to communications and more. Thank you to OCBC investor SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union and OCBC board member Diana Kot for hosting.
