This year, CDG Builders' Senior Project Engineer, Collin Griffitts, took on the role of coach for the Orange Coast College Men's 2nd Novice 8. Facing tough opponents like Purdue, Michigan, and Virginia, they won the Grand Final in Nashville with a stunning sprint in the last 500 meters, finishing the season as undefeated National Champions.

Collin's leadership was key to this success, embodying our values at CDG. We couldn't be prouder of his accomplishments on and off the water!

Eleven years ago, Scott Martin became an integral part of CDG Builders, stepping in as our 3rd Superintendent and 7th employee. A seasoned Electrician with a hunger for new opportunities, Scott's journey with us has been nothing short of remarkable. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in helping shape and grow CDG into the reputable builder it is today.

Scott's tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on our CDG family. Whether tackling big or small projects, navigating through complexities or simplifying tasks, facing demanding clients or collaborating with the great ones, Scott has consistently risen to the occasion time and time again.

As we bid farewell to Scott, our emotions are mixed—a blend of sadness at his departure, and excitement for the journey that lies ahead. Scott isn't just leaving; he's stepping into uncharted territory, venturing into entrepreneurship with the establishment of Saddleback Electric, Inc. We stand in solidarity with his courage and share in his immense pride as he embarks on this new chapter.

CDG has secured the remodel of an existing linear accelerator room and control room, for UCI Medical Center. Designed by Lionakis, CDG will supply a new chiller outside the building that will supply cooling for the new linear accelerator, manufactured by Varian, a Siemens Healthineers company.
