Calling All Givers! Do you have an extra backpack taking up space in a closet? Bring it to ConnexFM2023! We're collecting backpacks to give to Kyle's Place, the 2023 IMPACT Charity Project selected non-profit organization. Bring an empty backpack with you to ConnexFM2023 and drop it in the donation bin at the registration bag pick-up area.

🎒BONUS: If you're not planning on taking your registration bag with you, empty it at the end of the event and drop it in the donation bin.

These backpacks will make a positive impact on the kiddos Kyle's Place and Journey to Dream serves!

1. Annual Charity Fundraising Event: Pre-Registration is required. 2. Annual IMPACT Charity Workday Event: Pre-Registration is required. We are excited to support Kyle's Place in Lewisville, TX this year with our IMPACT Charity Project. Our FM community has come out in a big way and we look forward to completing this project with final updates, maintenance, and repairs on April 3rd! HUGE shout out to CS Hudson for their support on this project this year!

3. Chance Auction: Due to many many MANY supporting organizations, we have a lot of amazing items to win during our Chance Auction at ConnexFM2023. Tickets are $5 a piece. We have Apple Watches, YETI Coolers, gift cards, and more! Come prepared to participate!

4. Professional Headshot Lounge: For a donation of $35 you have the opportunity to spruce up your professional headshot for your LinkedIn webpage and organization website. 2023 IMPACT PROJECT STORY – WEEK 2

CS Hudson was back at it this week! 💪

👩‍🏫 Kyle’s Place is thrilled to have a new desk for day and night staff team members to work and monitor security cameras. The previous team desk was knocked over causing it to break. The new desk is a solid commercial desk that has been secured to the studs. The new desk isn’t going anywhere!

2023 IMPACT PROJECT STORY - WEEK 1

A big shout out to CS Hudson for kicking off this year's project with a bang! 💥

🚪Kyle's Place is excited to have two fully functioning metal doors with pass through windows (and shades!) as the new access points for the girls wing and boys wing from the kitchen area. Previously, these doors were barn doors that didn't provide the level of security and lock down desired.

🔐 Prior to the IMPACT Project, Kyle's Place had a back door with a window giving slight visibility to residential space within the facility. The back door has been replaced with a solid metal door that now provides safety, security, and privacy for the residents that live there.

Never underestimate the power of a fresh coat of paint! 🎨

A big thank you and shout out to DAVACO and Benjamin Moore Paint Outlets for their gift to New Life Beginnings! Benjamin Moore donated all of the paint and Davaco donated their team members labor and materials needed to complete this paint project. This is a blessing to New Life Beginnings and a promising fresh start to the women and children they serve!

IMPACT STORY – WEEK 3

We are recapping IMPACT Project Week 3 and couldn’t be happier to share progress made!

Thanks to a generous donation made by OnSite and Legacy Group Enterprises, Inc., New Life Beginnings now has 12 new windows that are energy efficient, and most importantly, do not leak!

A big thank you to Gorman Roofing Services, Inc. and Pegnato Roof Intelligence Network, LLC who teamed up to repair roof leaks at New Life Beginnings facility. Many repairs, including steep-slope and low-slope repairs, were made. These repairs, with some continual roof maintenance, will extend the life of the roof another 7-10 years! That is huge and gives New Life Beginnings time to budget for those future costs.

Thanks to a generous donation made by OnSite and Legacy Group Enterprises, Inc., New Life Beginnings will have 12 new windows by the end of the week! This is big for New Life Beginnings as many of the windows were broken and leaking.

Another major shout out goes to Facility Solutions Group! Thanks to FSG, New Life Beginnings will have brand new electrical panels and outlets in the bedrooms. The current electrical panels were recalled 12 years ago. This is a major safety concern that has been lifted!

IMPACT STORY – WEEK 1

💧 New Life Beginnings now has a fully functioning main sewer line! This repair has opened the functionality of a side of the house that has not been able to be used. New Life Beginnings is going to be able to serve more families because of this! Thank you again to NEST® - Integrated Facilities Management for their contribution and to LandMar Plumbing for donating the materials!

🛠 Thanks to BrandPoint Services, New Life Beginnings now has a repaired walkway, back gate, and doorbell. There were many broken walkway pavers, which were a trip hazard and concern for the children and the back gate now closes and locks properly, which is important for the safety of the families!
